  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Mine is Laurel and Hardy .........nothing can touch them.

I have stood outside Stan's front door , where he was born , in the Lake District UK.

They are the very best medicine .

Many copied them none equalled them.

I also love the Marx Brothers and Charlie Chaplin. :D

I love them as well, real comedy without relying on foul language. I also love Monty Python, I think that they are great as well....

I second OR on Monty Python, except for LoB. All my system sounds are from "The Quest For The Holy Grail".

Has anyone ever seen the TV show "Who's Line Is It Anyway". I laugh so hard I have tears rolling down my face (I wasn't crying) when they get audience members to do sound effects.

I guess I don't have a favourite comedian as such, but I do think Robin Williams is brilliant, all round actually, and Eddie Murphy can be hilarious.

I like the old British comedies, especially 'Only Fools and Horses'. I LOVE that show - I'd buy every series made of that programme if it were available on DVD!! :D ^_^

Ok, Planes Trains = Superb! In no particular order.... Monty Python (excluding the last 10 mins of LoB), Blackadder, Fawlty Towers and Only Fools (I didn't really like the last 3 Christmas specials though).

I also think that The Office is sooooo funny. (UK version - haven't seen the USA version!)

Yes, Fawlty Towers is pretty hilarious! I also like Penelope Keith - I think she's a great actress, and I loved 'To The Manor Born', because of her acting.
