I'm just wondering if you ever fast. Fasting is going without something, like without food. That's the most common. It is done quite often in the Bible, for mourning and when something important is asked. As I amf asting today, I was wondering if anyone elses church does. My church has quite afew fast and prayer days.

I'm finding it hard today, as it is my first fast, and to be honest, I'm not small. I do feel a sort of clear mind, so I'm thinking about fasting more often. Not too often though.

Yeah, I do. But I don't do it as often either. Fasting is for having victory over your own appatite. It's a health and temperance issue.
If you are new you can start with just drinking water or maybe even eating some fruits. Fasting is actually quite good for our health.

Yeh, Amen. I've been having water, well, only one small glass so far. I woke up this morning, not feeling to good and it hasn't gone away. It's not from hunger, just feelin' sick. Dunno why.

Have you seen Danny Viera's DVDs? Google modern manna. He does health evangelism. He teaches people how to fast with juicing.

One thing that's amazing about fasting regularly is that if you are overweight, fasting will help you lose weight. However if you are underweight, fasting will help you gain weight.
