Yesterday, when I picked up Liam from preschool, all the other moms were talking about how awful it was that St Patrick's day falls on a Friday this year and were lamenting about corned beef and cabbage. At Sunday dinner at my mom's house, everyone talks about how well they did or if they "cheated". They will even pick on each other if they see someone eating something they had promised to give up.
