Farly new Christian join Army. questions and advice

I want to either be army ranger or special forces... i know i truly will not decide on which one i get that is Gods ultimate decision on which job I will make it though. But I am signing up as infantry through there with proper physical score I will be able to get Airborne school. Then hopfully Ranger school. Or if it will be possible to just start up vol. for the SF i would maybe do that. My main question is how do i decide which one is what God wants me to do... SF is mainly trying to help the country who is at war with us and giving them aid so in return they are helpful to us and they help build up there own military in a way. Which is one thing I like. On the other hand Rangers are more so... Here is our high priority target he will be here at this time. Go get him. Which I would enjoy the more.. SWAT team approach to it. So not sure what to do there...


Also i hear all the stories of what war does to people... and it worries me... Yet i would not be here about to sign up for the Army if it wasent for God. Long story short quit the airforce during basic training right out of highschool not 2-3 years later the Army is going to take a chance with me. I dont want to get into that though. So this is my path this is where God wants me. I know with him on my side i should maybe not worry about what will happen later on due to the fact everything is in his hands and what he wants to happen will.. my best advice so far was Keep your Bible near/with you all the time..

First off, concentrate on going through basic and then getting out of AIT. Also for Airborne, know that they do their best to kick people out of there, so concentrate on that. Once you get though with all your training and get to your unit, then you can worry about SF and Rangers. Just to let you know, there will be recruiters for both schools there coming to your duty location so you will be able to do that.

With the military it's take it one day at a time. Insha Allah, you will be guided to what is right.

God doesn't really have much to do with if you go SF or Rangers. I mean I guess you could roll some dice with odds being attempting SF and evens attempting Rangers.

You have to look at both of those and decide which one is more realistic, if you can do either at all as they are both challenging. Don't look at SF as being some purely humanitarian job where you work as a force multiplier with locals in a country we're stuck in. You'll only be making things worse for yourself with that sort of foolish idealism. Going in expecting that is a mistake, appreciating it if it happens is not.
