it would be constructive to write a faq or build a nice recommended reading list in this forum.

i've found so many interesting and must read books during the last few years of this study that i really wish i'd found earlier.

i managed to get The Biblical Flood: A Case Study of the Church's Response to Extrabiblical Evidence
by Davis A. Young
looks very good.

reading on naturalism and found
Is Nature Supernatural? A Philosophical Exploration of Science and Nature
by Simon L. Altmann
certainly one place to start.

on human evolution i continually recommend
Where Do We Come From? : The Molecular Evidence for Human Descent
by Jan Klein, Naoyuki Takahata

perhaps we could each list 3 of the most significant books in the ceation-evolution-design debate that we have found and then work on a tree to systematically organize them. the same questions keep coming on on the forums here, perhaps organizing by common questions asked.

My favorite theology of evolution is God After Darwin by John Haught. Haught puts out a good natural theology in that book. I have written about 10,000 words based upon that book and Kenneth Miller's Finding Darwins God for a formal debate elsewhere.

I also read Doubt's About Darwin for a history of the ID movement but I find the evidence for evolution and natural selection too strong.

i'm resurrecting an old thread here to gauge the difference between here and the open CED debate forum. i am blogging the list to:
http://rmwilliamsjr.livejournal.com/182744.html
in order to build it into a decent reference list.

looking at doing something broken up by topics. then a 2 or 3 tier choice with that section.

thanks for your help. this looks like a worthwhile project.
