It seemed so whole,
while we had it together,
we thought that it would last,
oh, forever.
But then something happened,
I'm not sure what or why,
but suddenly it seemed,
you could only make me cry.
I don't know what happened,
I sure wish I did,
now it seems,
our caring is just on a bid.
You feel that you have,
to buy me for affection,
this relationship seems,
to be going in the wrong direction.
Maybe it's because of God,
my realtionship with him,
I guess you feel while he's around,
you can't win.
And you're right about that,
at least partially,
I won't comprimise my walk with him,
not when he comrpimised his life for me.
And now it seems,
we're falling to pieces,
you'll achieve my love,
by any and all means.
It's doesn't seem fair,
and it's surely not right.
I really DO care,
I won't loose this without a fight.
But we have to face the reality,
our realtionship is falling to peices,
right before our eyes,
and our questions of how's why's,
won't help us now.
We need to salvage what we have,
figure out how,
to keep us from falling to peices.
There's really only one way,
that I can say.

there's only one thing that we can do.
This relationship is for God,
to take and to mold,
to shape and to hold,
in the palm of his hands.
Something so strong,
will fall down,
if it's not based around,
the one who has held me up,
and never let me fall.
Base this on god,
we won't topple at all.
For surely something so pure,.
so true and right,
can't topple over,
if God's in on the fight.
Just give it all up,
don't keep your heart's door shut.
Ask for forgivness,
from your every sin,
open up,
let my God in.

based on God,
