Fallen Leaf (A Reflection on a Creative Creator)

Never have I seen before
Anything to be compared
to beauty that now lines the floor
of Earth, here on this Autumn morn'

One object my attention led,
among leaf piles and puddled rain
with flecks of dark on vibrant red,
one leaf, pristine, beside a drain.

What artist painted its bright hues?
How creative its Creator's mind?
What hand could be so skilled and true,
to leave this leaf for me to find?
