If John 10:22 is in the Bible, it is not "irrelevant"...

John 10:22 is not irrelevant, but rather the temple the Pharisees worshipped in according to their feasts was irrelevant and Jesus was calling his sheep out of it and later going ahead of them to meet them across the Jorden.

The physical temple was the shadow of Christ, and therefore had a purpose in God's plan.

It had a purpose until the week that the Jewish leadership drug God's Son out of that temple.
God then ripped the temple veil in half after the ultimate blood sacrifice, which would fulfill the New Covenant. (Matthew 26:28)
