I don't fake those things, but most public behavior can be construed as fake if you think about it long enough. This doesn't mean it *is* fake, or that everyone who seems happier than they really are deep down is a faker. Maybe they don't want to make a bad situation worse, or maybe that's genuinely how they act around others. Also, there's a lot to be said for keeping a stiff upper lip.

Sometimes it happens here when I read peoples camaraderie. It's not my place to call it fake or contrived (Only God knows peoples hearts) But it is annoying every now and then. Maybe I find it that way because I'm not used to staying immersed in a Christian bubble all the time. Who knows. That's when I go to people that don't have it all together or stay on the fringes.
