May I ask, what questions did you have?

No. I'm pretty sure he said you have to be convicted by the Holy Spirit. That's not the same as being exposed to Adventist truth.

So, for example, a Catholic who goes to a Revelation seminar and isn't convinced, and goes on to live his or her life as a good Catholic can be saved?

You may have noticed I am a former Adventist. But I think for now you ought to put major theological questions on hold. You have bigger issues to worry about, as I mentioned to you in GT.

You can only make so many life changes at once. You will have time to review your faith and decide which way to go. But right now your situation with your wife is a more pressing issue.

And despite what some folks say, you can certainly be a Christian in the Adventist church.

A few years ago, when the progressive split from the main SDA forum, it was claimed by CF that the main forum couldn't use the SDA name because of GC owns the rights. So this forum was named traditional adventist forum, labeled into faith group.

In reality it was probably CF's hatred towards SDAs used that excuse.

The GC did ask that CF not allow the Adventist section to use the logo. They did not say they had to stop using the name per se. Although Daryl can tell you from experience that they do that from time to time.

And they do claim to own the rights, and have brought suits before.

At the time CF stopped using the name as a precaution due to the GC's aggressive nature with such suits.

Additionally, the GC was the only church at the time (and since as far as I know) to ask that they not use their logo.
