Thanks for the links @Warden_of_the_Storm, I find this subject very interesting. If all this is true it sheds a very different light on the age before the flood.

  1. DNA manipulation
  2. The Arc
  3. The Emerald Tablets
  4. Hermes dynasty
  5. The Nephilim
Mythological creatures such as the Centaur could have been real.

Didn't Jesus say that the end days would be like in the days of Noah ?

It really doesn't in the slightest, no.

Mythological creatures are just that: mythological.

Not according to the book of Jasher which is mentioned in the Bible - Joshua 10:13; 2 Samuel 1:18; and 2 Timothy 3:8

Jasher 61:15 -- Zepho kills beast, half man and half animal, "from the middle upward it resembled a man, and from the middle downward it resembled an animal.

What is going on today ?

DNA manipulation & they are trying to release the fallen angels from the bottomless pit which maybe in Antarctica, is this why some of the church & world leaders were down there not so long ago ?

Evidence for this please.

No, real archaeological evidence.

You'd have to have actual evidence that the flood took place. Got any?
Archarology is the least of it.

Someone 's weird n wacky bible - readin '
is less than nothing. It belongs in
" conspiracy" perhaps but is not allowed
in a phys sci forum.

Same book " verifies" flood and is notably
inaccurate on many other factual matters.
Perhaps it gets "spiritual" matters correct.

Regardless, this is not a forum for apologrtics.

Plz move such to the conspiracy forum.
I'm serious. This is a physical science forum
calling for facts backed by verifiable reference.

I don't want to have to call in moderators.

Well @BCP1928 said he has evidence of an advanced civilization, so I think I'll wait to see what he has to say. Thanks all the same.
Warden of the Storm has provided it. I wasn't talking about some magical antediluvian civilization swept away by a cataclysm. I was talking about civilizations that existed continuously throughout the period of the flood, before, during and after without a break, leaving archaeological and written evidence.of it behind them.

Because the study of God's creation shows that the documentation is incorrect.

God's creation is studied under extreme bias (i.e., limited) conditions, viz. no miracles allowed.

Same book "verifies" flood and is notably inaccurate on many other factual matters.

All these phantom civilizations that supposedly predated the Flood, yet wrote about it, have the facts SEVERELY in error.

Names, places, number of survivors, etc and so on show clear fabrication and/or mockery.

In addition, Shem lived right up to the time of Jacob, and would have been a source of eyewitness testimony against anyone writing otherwise.

There's this odd belief in ancient civilizations
exceeding our present one.

But considering the litter of our present one,
and how leaves, worm tracks, beetles ripple marks
in mud etc all fossilized so nicely the lack of even
one artifact, mine shaft or any sign at all makes it
a matter of woo woo to speculate about.

And scientists love to reduce peoples' beliefs down to "woo woo," don't they?

I'll give them credit for this though:

They love reducing their own beliefs down to "woo woo" as well.

Pluto is an excellent example.

But for the most part, scientists like to start fires, then put them out.

Y2K is a good example.

Y2K is a very bad example.
I know your tendency to blame scientist for all ills, but the Y2K date problem was brought up as an issue by programmers, not scientist. Programmers came up with the fix, and than the IT Department put it into place. I was very busy during that time going from computer to computer installing the patch. Scientist were not in the picture.

QV please:

Computer science focuses on the development and testing of software and software systems. It involves working with mathematical models, data analysis and security, algorithms, and computational theory. Computer scientists define the computational principles that are the basis of all software.

God's creation is studied under extreme bias (i.e., limited) conditions, viz. no miracles allowed.

Because miracles, by their nature, cannot be studied in any way, and thus are useless as far as science is concerned. Miracles can be used to explain away everything and hence can explain nothing.

Identifying a problem, even if it turns out to be nothing, and finding a way to solve said problem is a lot different than 'starting a fire then putting it out'.
