Facing the same Battles

As an adult it seems that I have faced many of the same battles I faced in childhood. It's like I'm reliving the same scenarios, but as a born again Christian. Scenarios such as past sins that I repeated after returning to Christ (praise God for the grace of repentance), awful experiences in church, bitter sibling rivalry with a sister who has sometimes been nice, other times mean, and other times downright evil. Has anyone had similar experiences? I have had to develop maturity, which has been difficult for me but God has been such a gracious and loving Father, patiently teaching me. If you have had similar experiences how did you deal with it?

Repentance is changing one's mind. His Holy Spirit , the Helper, helps us overcome sin. True repentance is not returning to sin. Pray daily for His Spirit to fill you so that your walk with Him can be in all righteousness. Blessings.

I can share. I've been bullied and harassed my entire life. Starts with elementary school, and follows me into workforce. Its pattern. What some people don't understand is. These narcissist have a unclean spirit. Evil spirits influence those who don't have holy spirit or lack spirtual growth. In Luke chapter 9, Jesus gave Christian people the power in Jesus name, to order evil spirits and satan away from you. My old job. This woman tried to get me fired. I did nothing to her. She was just filled with Hate. She was under demonic influence. I transferred to another store. It's sad. Shes headed to hell. You can't serve two masters. Another one. In 2004, former girlfriend left message for me on answering machine. It was 5 minutes long. Filled with swearing and hatred. Half way through, her voice changed to Masculine Voice. I believe this is demonic possession. She admitted she's Evil. If you achieve spirtual growth, you have target on your back. You know whose in hot pursuit. Luke chapter 9, Use Jesus name, and order evil spirits and satan away from you. GET BEHIND ME IN NAME OF JESUS !!.

Were to love one another. Unfortunately, thiers some lost souls that are headed for hell, james chapter 6 ,and jude.
What did hurt me the most going to schools and workforce. Was being called Retard. I didn't pick up fast enough, and some bad characters put me down. I was diagnosed in 2014 with cognitive impairment and hypoxic brain injury. Jesus doesn't want to see disability. Moses had a disability. Those who enjoy hurting people with disabilities, are following satan, ephesians chapter 2. In high school, they would say about special education, That's were the retards go. You know what's sad. They have no substance. They see something in you that they don't have. Me and you, and body of christ achieved something. Were planting seeds for God and glorifying God. Jesus will have rewards for us. The wicked are going to hell. Success isn't state of mind. It's being Doers of Gods will. Peace.

Wow, you're right and thank you for addressing that. It's so easy to get caught up in the world's idea of success, but yes, success is doing God's will. The most important thing is not what other people are saying about us but what God is saying about us and God says that He loves us and that we are made in His image and likeness. I too endured a lot of bullying in my childhood. It wasn't fun then and it's not fun to think about it now but God kept me as He kept you. May God continually grant you His peace in Jesus name.
