  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This movie will bring you to tears.
I thought it was fairly good especially since a church produced it rather than Hollywood pros...but as for football stories which bring you to tears...We are Marshall..really does that...not in the least bit boring either.

I thought the movie was pretty good. I think what is impressive is the fact that a church made the movie. :)

My 14 yo son really liked the movie. That makes me happy because the contents glorify God and there are good lessons to be learned from watching.

I thought it was really wonderful, and I'm so happy that it has done decently at the box office as well.

Be sure to catch their first production 'Flywheel',I lean even a little more strongly to it. The special features on disc2 are also amazing.

Personally, I loved the movie. It was a little slow, but it showed how God will work in our lives if we just keep the faith, and allow our faith to grow as a mustard seed. Even if we have such little faith, that seed will grow, and the result is the power of God! And often times we can't seem to keep up the faith, and that's what our Christian loved ones can help us with. When they have the faith, it helps us to be stronger in our faith, and God will answer ALL of our desires! I thought it was a great example for us!:thumbsup:

I cried at the end also. But it wasn't from sadness. It was in admiration of God. That my FATHER still answers and hears our calls, no matter how long we wait! We may think that our prayers can never be answered. But it's our stinkin' thinkin' that lessens our faith. He will let ALL of our prayers be answered at the perfect time!;)

I found the story touching...I found the acting laughable, though. But if you can get past that, then yeah, it was a sweet movie. :)
I thought the wife was hilarious! She was trying her hardest, but you can tell that she's just not an actress.. ya know?

I enjoyed the story line (for the most part) and the movie, in general.. worth seeing again, I guess.
