Facing an Election Loss, President Donald Trump Turns to Raw Political Power to Try to Bend the Outcome
During his failed campaign to win another four years in office, President Donald Trump repeatedly used the power of his office to boost his chances, employing the White House as a campaign backdrop, having his Secretary of State give a campaign speech during an official diplomatic trip, and spreading baseless claims about voting fraud from behind the presidential seal.

Now he’s using his office to try to reverse his loss.
Thought this part was also interesting:
Hanging over Friday’s meetings is more than the power of the office. Trump is also building a new fundraising juggernaut as he fights the election results. Trump’s massive campaign fundraising list is sending appeals to donors nominally to help his legal defense, but a large portion of the funds is going to a new political action committee called Save America that Trump can use to steer donations to the campaigns of politicians he favors.

Donations under $8K to Trump ‘election defense’ instead go to president, RNC

"(Reuters) - As President Donald Trump seeks to discredit last week’s election with baseless claims of voter fraud, his team has bombarded his supporters with requests for money to help pay for legal challenges to the results: “The Left will try to STEAL this election!” reads one text."

"But any small-dollar donations from Trump’s grassroots donors won’t be going to legal expenses at all, according to a Reuters review of the legal language in the solicitations."

"If a Trump donor gave $500, for instance, $300 would go to Trump’s Save America PAC, $200 would to the RNC - and nothing would go to his election defense fund."

"One Republican political strategist said Trump is misleading supporters who might give small donations to whatever cause he approves."

From the article:

"After repeated failures to show widespread election fraud in court, Trump’s legal team has acknowledged that its current strategy is to delay certification of votes in key states in order to open the door for GOP-held state legislatures to intervene and send a raft of pro-Trump delegates to the electoral college on Dec. 14, rather than delegates who represent how people voted."

I heard the same thing on the radio this past week. This is dangerous beyond belief.

I'm not a Trump supporter nor Biden supporter, but believe in our election process. Trump lost and needs to concede.

If the state legislators chose electors who'll cast the state's electoral votes for Trump rather than Biden, whom the voters selected, the will of the people has become irrelevant and we have a potential coup by Trump who refuses to accept the results of the election.
