  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Because Facebook data mines and makes the information public.
This. Very this.

There's no way around it either. When I used Facebook, I filled it up with nonsense information. They're mining data no matter what and there's nothing anybody can do about it.

So when you can't win, use defeat to your advantage. Facebook charged people top dollar for my nonsense information.

I regret nothing.

Nothing!

Some guy I had a relationship with years ago found me on Facebook from my phone number,I got a new number, how did he find me on Facebook with my new number?
How do you know he found you by your number? I thought the most common thing was searching for a friend or family member and finding somebody that way. It was on some news show, I forget.

Did you link your new number to your Facebook? That may have been it. Are you using the same e-mail address, and does this guy know it? It's easy to find people on that site using just the slightest amount of information.
