I prefer facebook to myspace. I know more people on there. It's a lot easier to find someone you know on facebook too. And I don't feel left out my not wanting to add a ton of special feautes to my page because I can't on facebook. I wouldn't likely be on myspace at all if facebook had a blog. I need a blog to post playlists for my radio show. There are other little reasons I prefer facebook that are hard to explain as well.

i like facebook because it is a lot safer than most of those online sites. you know that every single person on there is a college student. that way, who they say they are really is who they are. no creepy old men!!

yeah i like that aspect of it a lot also...you cant lie about who you are there...

Like others have said, I like the birthday feature (I'm terrible at remembering birthdays) and I like the photo albums. I can spend way too much time looking at random pictures. Plus, I like the feel of facebook. Myspace feels very middle-school/high-schoolish to me. Maybe it's just because the style of the pages remind me of the kind of webpages people used to make when I was in those shools. I also think its a good way to keep in contact with people you might not have otherwise.

I like facebook... It is kind of annoying now that they have a status area. I love the albums. Except when my friends put awful pictures of me on there... and then they tag me. It is a great way to keep up with friends while you're away from school. I really miss them and can't wait to get back to school.

Facebook is better than Myspace... When I was on Myspace I kept getting strange messages from guys that lived in the same area as me... It just didn't feel safe. I left myspace at the end of the semester.

I get friend requests from strange guys on facebook all the time. Yesterday I got one from some man who went to ball college or something like that. I think he was from Indiana. I was like uhhh i dont even know who you are OR anyone where you are from.

Once you find everyone you know on Facebook, it kind of loses its excitement.

It's okay I guess...I'm more of a myspace person myself, there's more to do on that. (I know i know myspace haha) I have one but maybe I dont' like it as much because I don't get many wall posts.

Oh, and someone was talking a while back about myspace and getting strange messages from people in her area... Anyway, I was just going to say to get that to stop... OR to not be so bothered by it... (Cuz I think everyone always gets stupid little messages from random people...) Is don't put where you live in your profile... I rarely get messages from people who live close... I think what I get are random spam messages mostly...


Yes, don't you think facebook should be able to be decorated up a bit? Do you think they're afraid that would be too much like myspace?

I would hope they wouldn't allow facebook to get to fancy. Myspace can get slow sometimes with all the stuff people do to their profiles.
