  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I happened upon a Christian graphic artist's blog.
She does give viewers permission to use her stuff just not to sell.
Here is one of her works.

Hmmmm...I might have. I work from home a couple days a week and have a firewall, which is probably blocking it.

How are you tonight sweetie? I don't need milk and cookies tonight...my eyes are just slits now. I have to get up at 0600 in the am to get ready for work at my part-time job.

I am doing okay. Been browsing other's blogs on BLogger.
Always interesting to find other Christian's blogs.

I am glad you will be sleeping on your own tonight.

No big plans for me this weekend. I have to work tomorrow and then Sunday a day off. Church in the morning then choir practice for our Cantata afterwards...then home for a nap or some reading. I think my Mom is making homemade soup for Sunday...yum...sure hope she shares with her favorite daughter (I'm her only daughter..heehee).

So, another Sunday afternoon choir rehearsal. What's the name of the one you're doing? I think my favorite Christmas we've done so far was "Welcome to Our World" back in 2001. It was sooo awesome!!!

We always start around August on our Christmas stuff.....we usually have a night called "Christmas in August" where we preview what we're going to be doing and have food, etc.

Little did we know when we previewed "Welcome to Our World" at the end of August that just a week later we'd have 9/11 and that musical was so appropriate and fitting with what had happened!!! If any of you ever get a chance to hear and/or see it, I think you'd be in awe!!!

We are doing "The Colors of Christmas" created and arranged by Marty Parks. There are some really different ones in this one. I'm sick to death of "Amen" and this year it's not in there

We start in October practicing. What part do you sing, I sing alto.
