Ivory is so harsh!!! At least the bar soap is. I don't know about the detergent. If she bought the detergent, I could see washing it in what she wanted, but if I bought it, I would use what I could afford!! I don't have a 'legal' MIL anymore, but I still keep in touch with the formers.

for those who liked B & W photography.... I found one for my Christmas Avatar: when I scanned this photo, it was never my intention to make it like it's washed in sepia; to my surprise it turned out great. It took me a while to figure out how to put in the red to make it stand out. :)

thanks~ I love to muck around in PSP7. there's TONS of tutes on how make the coolest fonts or tweak a photo. when I get myself settled in the new house, I just might upgrade to PSP 9 or 10.

Lori, we were all coming over to help you. Don't need us now?

Maybe....but if I can put the Zen into housecleaning, I just might make it.

My MIL told me his underclothes had to be washed in Ivory Snow. Needless to say, she had spoiled that boy. It was a hard act to follow too.

this is what you get for marrying a man who's spoiled rotten... :p

As for laundry detergent...I'm trying to find one with NO bleach in it. I found out why my dark clothes are fading a LOT faster when I use detergent with bleach. who knew?!

My daughters version of ironing is...putting them in the dryer for a few minutes

I keep catching grief at work from The Mean Associate about being rumpled . . . my idea of ironing is the "guy iron" - you put your clothes on, and run your hands down your chest and smooth out the wrinkles.

It works for, oh, 5 minutes. ^_^

My mother taught me how to wash my clothes when I was about 8. I think she got tired of all the dirt and mud on my clothes . . . ^_^
