Hello everyone.
I've been going through some pretty tough trials as of late. I know God is with me and will guide me through this terrible time, however, I haven't been much in the mood to go online in any form (other than to have to pay some bills) and to chat with anyone. Even though I know He will direct me in whichever direction He wants me to go, I still feel somewhat lost emotionally. I want to thank EVERYONE who has sent me Christmas Greetings and sorry I couldn't get back to each and every one of you. I almost feel like crying as I type this because I wish I could just be happy and be able to enjoy this Holiday Season and chat with all of you - but I just don't have it in me right now.

Any prayers I receive I think would help greatly. I Bless all of you and hope your Christmas and New Years is SAFE and JOYOUS!! Love & Peace to you all.

Sounds like me. All I can say is that I know God is with you. Because He is with me too. I have been very depressed and angered by the trials consuming my life. But I can't lose my hope. The enemy is camping out at my doorstep and I am sorry to even say this, but yeah, I have let him in again. Shouldn't have, but did. And the Christmas season is here, and even though that should be a happy time, it's not this year. And it doesn't have anything to do with Christmas directly. It's just my emotions are allover the place. But God in his goodness, gave me another day, and I just have to remember to pick up my cross and walk with him. He's never going to let me down.

Good evening, all! I've been cleaning my kitchen all up today! Smells really good! Now, I have to bake some more!

Laurenda, I'm glad you weren't hurt worse! I fell down my stairs in an ice storm once, and broke my arm!

{{{Lisa}}} We are here for you!!!

Good morning everyone!

Yeah, I know, it's been a while since I popped my head in here. Not because of any 'holiday rush' or anything like that. My schedule just doesn't seem to be my own anymore as of late. I'm in the process of training to drive a school bus, which means early morning trainings, and trying to find the time to study the 'manual'. Oye. For years, I've watched school busses drive by without any thought of the mulitiude of responsiblities the drivers have. Well, I know now. It's enough to make your head spin. Anyhow, I'm at the point where I'm just about ready to take my drivers exam .. like in 2 weeks. I'm still wondering how in the world I got into this

I understand how you feel, Laurenda. My hubby has been in Tennessee for 2 months now, working in Nashville. We're going through a 'transition' .. he went down there for the job he has, and in the meantime, I'm up here with the rest of the family, tying up the 'loose ends' and waiting for my daughter to have her first baby ( in February ), and allowing for my youngest to finish up his 10th grade in June, while my hubby will be looking for a house for us. The sad part is that he won't be able to come home for Christmas :( But at least he has family down there with him, so he won't be alone. It's just getting through being apart in the meantime that's the hard part.

Lisa and Tricia, my heart goes out to you both. I can't tell you how many Christmases have gone by, when the struggles of life made it nearly impossible to be able to focus on the real reason of Christmas. Our culture has taken this 'holiday' to such unreasonable 'heights' .. with all the comercialism and ludicrous expectations as far as having to find ALL the right gifts, or the 'romance' that is needed to have a 'warm, fuzzy-feeling' holiday season, etc. Television just swarms with a lot of unrealistic ideas to the point that if your own life doesn't meet that 'criteria', you feel like you're either missing something, or those trials that you go through are even more emphasized.

What HAS gotten me through those times, is when I've focused on the Lord. He came to this earth for us .. so that we might LIVE. And with that thought in mind, I've learned to take each day, one day at a time. When the feeling of being overwhelmed starts to consume me, I just have to stop and pray, being mindful that He has gotten me this far .. I know He'll get me through the next day, and the next. God knows, .. just keep talking to Him. You're in my prayers, my sisters.

Ok, I've used up enough space to make up for the time I've been gone. ;) Have a great weekend, everyone!!! And may God bless you!!
