The science to support that Anthropologic released CO2 will cause greater than 1.2°C increase in Earth's global temperature has been shown over the past two decades to be non-emperical based. None of the scientists who proposed Catastrophic Anthropologic Global Warming seen the 18 year Pause coming, nor can they explain it.

Extremist Environmentalists have been "hiding" in the CAGW promotion and propaganda, and the present lawsuit confrontation with ExxonMobil is no different, as the Fox News article reveals.

Sooner or later we are all going to need to deal with Environmental Extremists. They have an agenda and are in action mode.

I've been to anti-oil meetings, campaigns, strategies etc that are openly advertised! And I'm not a pagan-god worshipping mother-earth type!

The Lord our God built this earth for us, and we honour Him by lovingly tending His garden. He loves it. It's not ours to trash, it's His. I suggest you read your bible more, and try and be a bit more honest about what the science really says! (What is it with you geologists thinking you know more than modern climatologists? EG: Do you guys forget that most previous extinction level event seems to have been caused by massive climate shifts? That we're in a MORE dangerous situation now, because back then in dinosaur times and pre dinosaur geologic times, the SUN WAS COOLER!)

Alarmists Scientists for decades have published that Catastrophic Anthropologic Global Warming requires a positive water vapor feedback for +2.0°C heating of Earth's atmosphere.

CO2 re-radiation forcing alone without the water vapor feedback will not cause Earth's atmosphere to warm above ~0.3 to 1.2°C.

No positive water vapor feedback has been observed, period. Look at the NOAA and NASA water vapor atmospheric databases. There's been no data and thereby no headlines for them to publish.

Extreme Environmentalists have no science to stand on in order to direct anyone to not use hydrocarbon fuels.

That is why they have went political and judicial.

Try to think for a second! We're convinced that climate change and smog-killings and resource constraints are all brining the fossil fuel era to it's logical end, and the sooner the better. But big oil and gas sponsor lies and denialists, and people like you vote for politicians that are in on that game because it scratches your (for whatever reason!) itching ears.

The extremists are the corporations that want to change the atmospheric content of our planet, change the chemistry of our oceans, dump pollution into the air for free, kill 3 million people a year, and not plan for a future when we finally run out of this foul stuff! People need to address the fact that we've sold our democracy to the corporations, and now they just do what they want and kill as many people as they want without consequence!

There are many current cases to follow in the news.

Corporations of our time are a rotten mess, with the top teir being self serving, full of the love of material gain.

There are now even "Activist Investors". Lookup in Reuters news what is currently happening to "ValueAct" Investments. They are getting sued by the Department of Justice - look up the reason and the long story. Greed at the highest Corporate participation level.

Exactly. Maybe if we just did what the French did and nationalised energy for a big roll out of nuclear we'd have healthier, cleaner cities, avoid the 3 million people dying a year, and avoid climate change and prepare for peak coal. (Those 4 points you just deleted and did not want to reply to).

You didn't provide evidence of a Greenie conspiracy, and you didn't counter my evidence of a fossil fuel conspiracy to misinform the public. There is bad information out there. Greenpeace are misinformed. Anti-nuclear governments have an ineffective clean energy policy based on anti-nuclear paranoid. But I don't see that many 'conspiracies'. They're usually quite open about the fact that government policies are backing renewables, and Eco-Modernist climatologists like Dr James Hansen decry this as a waste of money! That's why I'm starting to believe Tom Blees when he says we should just nationalise energy to roll out nukes the way the French did.

Please do not judge an entire profession by the ramblings of a single, close minded individual. I am a geologist and - unsuprisingly - several of my colleagues are geologists. I don't know any who have serious reservations about AGW - that includes a significant number of those working in the oil and gas industry.

If it's untrue, I can only envision a net negative. I don't see how more expensive energy, unnecessary and harmful environmental regulations that disadvantage businesses, increased governmental power, and more unaccountable undemocratic global governance creates a better world.

Other countries that continue to burn fossil fuels will be at an advantage, and those who don't will find themselves wasting billions pumping into green subsidies to research some new clean green alternative that'll end up more expensive and won't produce as much energy. Ordinary people get hurt as they see their energy bills go up, while they are told it's all in the name of 'saving the planet'.
