And that's just your opinion based on your own Christian morals.
I can agree with you that it is just @Apple Sky's personal opinion. But as a Christian and a globe earther and a non anti-vaxer, I can say that anti-vaccines and flat earth are firmly in the conspiracy theory category and effectively have nothing to do with Christian morals, personal or otherwise. Scientists are just the same as everyone else - imperfect human beings. Some are dishonest but the vast majority are honest about their research. And, as @jayem rightly indicated, there are a number of Christian leaders who still succumb to a human temptation of dishonesty in their claimed 'ministry'. So no moral high ground there either!

Some are dishonest but the vast majority are honest about their research.

If the vast majority were honest about their research, how did we get the Thalidomide tragedy?

One scientist I hold in high esteem is Frances Kelsey, who refused to endorse this lab-created drug until "honest" scientists researched it further.

They didn't though, did they?

Where were the "vast majority" who should have backed her, but didn't?

I honestly don't even think you'd care either way.

Your poor grasp of the facts of reality does not affect the honesty of others.

I wouldn't trust one scientist who was part of W.H.O. not after the planned pandemic (Covid 19). Thank the Lord I never took any of Satan's juice.

As expected this thread has turned out to being a science bashing exercise.
For those anti-science bigots who want to use Thalidomide or the ridiculous example of reclassifying Pluto as ammunition, this scientist/engineer's invention was responsible for hundreds of millions of deaths and the collective IQ loss of 822 million IQ points in America alone.

Who was this man, I'll leave it as an exercise of using AI to identify him, what he had done and whether it was a consequence of his "dishonesty" or a sign of the times that potential environmental and health impacts were not as developed as they are today.

Modern scholars find inconsistencies in the Old Testament and Torah and ascribe many of them to the process by which they were created. For example, the documentary hypothesis asserts that repetitions and contradictions are the result of texts that have been woven together from diverse sources written by different authors, at different times.
many shcolars are full of pride and dont really even know the bible .
And the so called iconsistencies if Old test and torah and etc , That was their own misunderstanding .
Some of us by grace have read that bible for hours daily and done so over eighteen years now .
What might sometimes seem as a contradiction or etc , It aint . its lack of understanding on our part .
The more we read it for ourselves , the more it will come together . only MOST Wont do that . they had
rather heed men and scholars .

Hi there,

As a believer, I've often pondered how science and faith intersect,, especially when it comes to understanding life itself.

How do we reconcile scientific discoveries with our Christian beliefs: ?? For example, the theory of evolution or the Big Bang--concepts that seem to challenge the biblical account of creation. Yet,, many Christians find that science enhances their faith,, revealing the intricacies of God's creation.
How do you approach this balance: ?? Do you see science as a tool to better understand God's work,, or do you find certain scientific ideas conflict with your faith: ?? Let's explore how we can embrace both faith and science in our journey to understand the world and our place in it. You can also read this https://medium.com/@pkajjohnson/science-and-faith-in-harmony-contemplations-on-a-distilled-doxology-cissp/

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences on this fascinating topic...! :)

Thanks,

I think scientists are wrong. Their predictions are made by what we know, but there’s an awful lot of missing information.

To be fair, even though the thread has skewed in the direction, the OP isn't about "Do you think scientists are wrong/dishonest?". It is "How, as a Christian, do you reconcile science with your beliefs?"

Why do you thank the Lord you never took the vaccine? My wife & daughters took it and they’re fine, never had any problems. Don’t get me wrong, I was skeptical to, I never got the vaccine. My wife & daughters were forced to by USCIS otherwise they couldn’t get a green card and SS card. I could understand thanking God that you never took it if the people who did take it had serious side effects but they didn’t. So why thank God that you didn’t take something that wasn’t actually dangerous?

Plandemic? Good grief. Get a grip. This is not the conspiracy section.

You must have been a few of the ones where God was on your side, but there were loads who unfortunately didn't make it.
