This is a man that spent six months in prayer with his family asking God if he should run for the office.

Cruz campaign also sent out emails saying the same thing about Dr. Carson. Cruz apologized to the doctor and then said he stands behind is campaigns actions. The news story about Carson is true and accurate, Cruz said. But that is a lie. Carson wasn't dropping out. And the Cruz emails said that caucus voters should go for Cruz in light of that 'news' that Carson was dropping out.

There's something wrong with that story that's seemingly letting CNN take the fall and not Cruz.
The Cruz campaign made calls and sent emails saying Carson was taking a break from the campaign and asking caucus goers to throw their support behind Cruz in Iowa.
However the article that's claiming CNN's responsible for this rumor first says CNN's broadcast of this report started at 7:43 p.m while the Iowa caucus was underway.

How could the Cruz campaign robo-call voters and send emails when they'd have heard about the CNN story and undertaken that effort after 7:43 p.m while the Iowa caucus was already in motion? And those electorate they'd hope to catch with robo-calls and emails would actually be at the caucus.

Where do you see 7:43?
In the article you linked.
Did you read the whole thing?
"Evidently, a damaging “rumor” that Dr. Ben Carson was suspending his campaign started during a Monday broadcast on CNN at around 7:43 pm est, while the Iowa caucus was in full swing. The “rumor” led to Cruz campaign staffers informing their precinct captains that they should urge caucus-goers to vote for Ted Cruz. "

The article I linked shows 6:43 ... some 17 minutes before caucuses started. Noting that it was CNN's tweet, not a broadcast, which started the Twitter storm that the Cruz and Rubio camps responded to.

LOL, I see your confusion. Being in Iowa and having participated in caucus allow me to clarify.

Note that the article time references 7:43 Eastern time ... but the article incorrectly claims caucuses were underway at that time. They were not. Caucuses started at 7:00 pm CENTRAL time (8:00 pm Eastern time) ... some 17 minutes after the CNN twitter storm caught the attention of Cruz staffers. Hopefully that clears things up sufficiently. Never, ever, take what the agenda driven media spews out at face value.

That is what the Cruz's said. He is running...apparently God responded with a resounding yes.

I understand that some will believe whatever they say....and have you sent in your donation to Cruz yet?

Imagine if everybody prayed for Cruz to win but sent no donations? LOL

Good to see you acknowledge that the Cruz campaign actually did what the article stated they did.

Cruz runs with unsubstantiated rumors.

Not only is he dishonest, but also acts on rumor. Not very Presidential.

So, 17 minutes before caucuses, (6:43 central time), CNN tweets that Carson is dropping out. Cruz staffers pick up on that and relay that info to the people in Iowa. As a result, Carson supporters cast their votes for Cruz. But somehow, this has turned into a personal and nasty indictment of Ted Cruz.

Got it.

The really funny part about all this is that Ted Cruz himself personally addressed my caucus after 7 pm and didn't mention anything about Ben Carson dropping out ... and he won anyway. :)

Note: Rand Paul also addressed our caucus in person. So did Ivanka Trump and Carly Fiorina's husband; not that many were swayed by their last minute appeals.

How about the timeline from an impartial source ...
Ted Cruz ADMITS his staff spread 'shameless' whisper campaign that Ben Carson was quitting presidential contest just before Iowa caucus voting began – but blames CNN for starting the rumor | Daily Mail

Here was the CNN reporter's original tweet at 6:43 pm CT:

Looks like the Carson campaign is, in fact, done ... and simply winding down.
From that Breitbart report ... The Definitive Timeline: Cruz-Carson-CNN Controversy

On Thursday, the Washington Post reported that Carson would be cutting campaign staff by 50 posts, some 40% of personnel.
Yes, Thursday is four days from the 1st when the Cruz lie began about Dr.Carson.

Rather than the opponents attacking Trump for his concern about his outcome in the Iowa polls and Cruz beating him, I hope he does follow through with whatever is at Trump's disposal in order to have the results investigated.

Cruz proves himself a liar over and over again and even a coward for dodging responsibility for his lies. He apologized to Carson for this lie and then stood behind the Cruz staff that promoted the lie. That's not a stable act of conscience.
And he claims he prayed and asked a higher power if he should run for office? I think his character sent those in the opposite direction because like attracts like.

Imagine that man as president of the United States.
President Cruz, did you send the military into this region?
No, and I apologize to that region. But I stand behind the military for going in.

"President Cruz" OK, I just threw up in my mouth a little. And here I thought Obama was costly on the antacids.
