Evolution did not take place. Mind you we do evolve or better yet we adapt. We have adaptations, but no evolutions.
so let me get this straight, we have population variation and differential reproductive success, but then at the same time we don't have population variation and differential reproductive success.... how orwellian.

Does the phrase "immaculate conception" mean anything to you, or was Christ planted in Mary's womb fully formed? (YEEEEOUCH!)

The doctrine of the Immaculate Conception refers to Mary's having been conceived w/o sin, not to "Christ planted in Mary's womb fully formed." I forget what the official Catholic term for this is- I've heard many simply refer to it as the "Virgin Birth".

If Jesus was planted in Mary, "fully-formed", wouldn't that cause some horrendous stretch marks?

To Believe In The Theory Of Evolution You Have To Believe That We Started Out As Single Cell Organisms And Later Formed Into Something Else And Something Else Etc. Etc. Biblically It Says In Genesis That We Were Created In The Image Of God, And To Create Eve He Took A Rib From Adams Chest, So The Two Obviously Contradict Each Other. But What Are Your Views.
The Bible is wrong.

Can those theistic evolutionists amoung you comment on this article?
http://www.icr.org/pubs/imp/imp-191.htm
It talks about how death entered the world through Adam. And that Christ removed the curse of death. It asks how this can be reconciled with evolution - which requires eons of death and suffering before man even appears.
Death entered the world through Adam because the ancient Hebrews found no better explanation for the existance of death and suffering than a myth about genealogically transferred guilt. That's what mythology was all about: Explaining the inexplicable, grasping the unfathomable by supplying simple explanations. And that's all that is to it.
UNLESS, of course, you try to dodge the mere absurdity of the Hebrew mythology by claiming that it applies only to spiritual matters - in which case you may once again reconcile the Adam-myth with Evolution.
Alas, you actually HAVE to limit it to spiritual matters, for even though Jesus allegedly removed the curse of death, people kept on dying physically regardless of their faith in him. Two millennia have passed, and still, Christians all around the globe die of sickness and old age just like anybody else.

Edit: Bah,
tip: read to the bottom of the last post before making your own. :)

What Jane said, If Adam brought physical death, then Jesus is not the savior because belief in him doesn't take physical death away.
I don't think dexx is capable of actually discussin any of the "interesting" articles he posts. notice how he never comes back to discuss them.
