The plain teaching of Genesis, that God created the world in six days, is scientifically accurate.

Personally, I wonder about the possibility of taking out the 'faith' component of biology in secular schools. That includes evolution as an explanation of origins. Students should have not have to read text books which say Creation is wrong and evolution is right.

A student that gains a good grasp of the complexity of how the eye works, how the human DNA functions, or the physical laws that underpin our universe will soon deduce that there is a Creator, a Master Designer. Maybe that is why evolutionary scientists are so keen include evolution in the curriculum, and afraid to include Creation.

Ignore those who wish to debate, or report them. This is a place for those who believe the Scriptures to discuss and encourage one another without the futile debates that occur on other forums.
I agree. I have had to get several posts removed this weekend and already today had to report some more. If the energy used to try to get Creationists to debate with them here was used to witness to nonchristians there would be a lot more good going on.

but don't u see the humor? they don't respect our forum, they break the rules and they'd rather argue with christians than try to witness to those who are lost. that is a testimony to what they really are about.

The point you make ties together with the original post and news story I posted. It's all about motivation and the condition of the heart.

Wow, read the article. That is quite sad. It seems today that no one wants to let there be a choice between evolution and creationism. They just want everyone to believe in evolution only without choice.

Interesting. God gave us free will to choose, but Christians today don't want to extend this free will in choosing, they rather give 1 choice, evolution.

Thank you for the article posting!

God Bless

Well, though I agree evolution is being jammed down our throats there's not much we can do about it.
In the meantime let's remember this forum is for the creationists' discussion and not to bash our evolution brothers or their doctrines. We can't expect to be treated one way and do something else. But when met with challenge I'm not going to just roll over and show my belly either.

Evolution is primarily the secular person's way of side-stepping creation without acknowledging God. They don't believe the bible in any shape or form so evolution provides a great escape path. So the christian looking at evolution as a good possibilty has all the resources to rely on that secular science has to offer, though I think some of secular evolution may have transformed into a philosophy or gone even further to becoming a religion for them of it's own though they won't say it.
Where naturalism and/or humanism fits in I have no idea but I imagine it plays a very big part.

No. Creationism won't get in public schools because it requires God and a quite fallible interpretation of Genesis.

Without Genesis, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.
It won't get into school because it requires the teaching of God and His holy word.

I've never heard anyone explain how they get anything but a literal interpretation of the Creation account by using the Bible and the language.

In order to get a non-literal interpretation you must use an outside source that probably was not given by special revelation (chances are its science) to critique the Bible. If you actually use the Hebrew language of that day and other Bible scriptures to find the length of time used for the creation account you ultimately come up with 6 literal days.
