EVOLUTION: Right and Wrong

I do not think that humans evolved from apes or monkeys or whatever it is that people say we evolved from, but I do believe that some species of animals have evolved slightly over time so that they can survive in their habitat. I know some people think that all evolution is wrong because we can't change what God made perfectc, but what if he knew they were going to change, not a lot, just so they can survive? He knew the world was going to change over time, he needed to give them a way to survive.

Because the Bible says that God made us in his image. It said he made man from the dust of the earth and the breath of God, not from apes.

But that does not rule out the possibility that the path from dust to human went through our common ancestor.

Evolution is a change in the frequency of an allele in a population. Your example certainly qualifies.

Redefining what evolution is will not disprove it.

We didn't evolve from apes, we are a type of ape, we just came from the same ancestors. The bible was written by a primitive people that had basically no science to speak of and weren't aware of the evolutionary process. The bible is wrong.

Or do you really think that God has to depend on random mutations for it all to work?

Adaptation is evolution.

Evolution is based on random mutations. There is more involved than the natural selection of preexisting traits.

you dont even know what it is you are opposing. evolution isnt about right or wrong because it is a theory. theories arent about right or wrong, theories are concerned with explaining a broad range of information. a theory either explains less or more of the data, not right or wrong

Lets assume for a second that we didn't evolve from apes.
We still have Ape genetics, including turned off portions of ape DNA such as a tail. Even if we didn't evolve from apes, it seems pretty obvious that God used the ape template to create man.
Leaving us in the same apparent philosophical problem as if we did evolve from apes.
