  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Evolution or the Bible?

"Cut them Down" does not define your conclusion of instant creation.
Sorry.
Strong's Hebrew: 1254. בָּרָא (bara') -- 55 Occurrences
Who said instant. God created man by forming out of the ground. Cut them down is only one possible use if the word bara. Strongs has all the possible definitions depending on the use and context. In this case create is the appropriate usage. As seen in the many many many transcripts and translations. Anyway cut them down does not mean evolution even if you wanted to use it.

Joshua 17:15, 18 uses the word bara in reference to cutting wood. There are only 4 times bara is used in reference to cutting down. And the context is clear as to what it's talking about .

Once again you are way off base and need to base your beliefs on what the Bible says rather than try and make the Bible conform to what you believe.

I don't think you are looking at the physics correctly.
I don't think you are looking at creation correctly. God said what defined the day. Evening and morning. How he did it is not described. You are limiting your understanding.

You have created a false dichotomy, forming your either/or question as if we can only have one or the other, either Bible OR Evolution. Nothing can be further from the truth.

Genesis 1 is a creation myth-- it is not a science book. It is designed to teach us that God is the creator, in a beautiful, songlike manner, and does that very effectively.

The Big Bang tells how God created the heavens and the earth.

Evolution tells us HOW God created life.

So God really did create man "from the dust of the earth." Evolution simply tells us all the steps in between.

I never said otherwise. However, there is power which is of God in the mix.

I am a Christian and a creationist even, but also an evolutionist.

So, pipe smoke it. I say gently. Good brew.

The atheist movement is separate from this. I know atheists who follow the commands of Jesus better then many "Christians" do. I have seen angels come through people of many faiths, yet these sorts of thoughts are appalling to those destined for destruction.

What is appalling for some atheists - maybe many, maye just a few leaders, like deceased and gone forever Dawkins - is that they don't know everything. They are not smart compared to God. They are not the smartest, most brilliant people. No, they were fashioned without the light of life by the hands of God.

A God the angels know. A God I know. A God many, many know. Those who understand love is God and God is love.

"Opposites attract", so sames do what? Or, is it the other way around. The point is if you are making your opponent Satan (Adversary), and never Jesus (God saves), then you are doing something wrong. If your love is too weak to love your adversaries, then you will not become immortal. You helped our spiritual revolution, but Dawkins never even asked God for immortality. He was content to never be once he died. Because that was who he was. And many like him.

On the otherside of the coin "Christians" who hope for all "Non-Christians" - people outside their family and kind - be tortured forever in the second death... how are they loving their enemies? What have they ever done for their enemies. What manner of darkness is this, that the one who says "Do not judge" has so many imposters judging others as if they are God their own self?

Now... there are no mistakes in how the tree of creation and evolution grows. Trees do not make mistakes. Study the tree, the very instrument of people's salvation, as it is said in the Law written on all our hearts, "Whomsoever is hung to death on a tree is cursed". Yet, we know Jesus is blessed and not cursed.

The tree of creation grows steady, and we are close to the final product. When, finally the water and wind are gone, and left standing alone on planet earth is just a great as tower of Babylon on a completely lonely planet. We the Immortals.

"They say", that there is no supernatural. Yet many of us know it and have evidence in our blood. I have all the evidence in my blood.

We do not age. That is all we need to win. And we are winning.

I also believe God created, and yet believe in evolution.

A creationist is someone who accepts a six day creation as in the Genesis 1 account, and rejects "macro" evolution. It's unfortunate that this small group have absconded that term but they have. Therefore, even though I believe God created, I cannot call myself a Creationist.

So, what do you mean when you say you are a Creationist but believe in evolution?

Your definition -- not mine.

My views are much more complicated than that.

It's not my definition. It's the standard definition. If you use a different definition, it's idiosyncratic and you will undoubtedly be misunderstood in conversations.

You are easy to understand, and wrong.

Maybe get some accomplishments under your belt, before thinking you are the smartest person in the room.

I posted my linkedin. Where's yours? Who are you, and what have you done.

How old are you.

What is your IQ.

Your response is a cookie cutter statement others made first and you memorized. I have heard that before, but only from anonymous folks who have nothing tangible to place their confidence in.

Jesus was misunderstood by such people, I certainly do not mind if you do as well.

You talk about deep state, but have never worked for any of those agencies. Like a pizza guy tells me about CIA or NSA, not realizing I have worked and been trained by both.

Having a comfort blanket to prop up the illusion of being well read and smart does not help, when it is garbage in, it is garbage out. Not saying you eat garbage, but...

Are you an Alex Jones fan?

Because I don't get why anyone would dare speak of matters such as you have here when proof has been provided to you.

Trump is the enemy of Deep State America.

Everyone knows that. He can't stop talking about it.

Arguing CIA is Trumpist is absurd.

In that context.

Or NSA or FBI.

They are all strongly anti-Trump, and for very good reason.

If you want links, well, okay. But maybe do your own research, first?

I do not use linked in. And I do not brag.

I can't believe you would even ask such a thing. It's even more rude than asking me my age, which you shouldn't have done. What is this, a competition? What would you do if I answered 115? 125? 135? 145? I decline on principle to answer. I also don't describe my private parts in public.

If I wanted to surf the web (and sometimes I do) I could do that on my own without you telling me to. But I come here to chat with people. If you make a claim AND you want to convince me, you have to back up that claim with quotes and citations. You can also just vent. I do that sometimes (especially about Trump or Hillary), but venting will not convince anyone.

Not really trying to.

Convince anyone.

To what?

I have never even met many Christians who have had miracles consistently of great substance.

I can make you believe, without miracles. Perhaps. But what would you need to know?

That the sky is really blank above? That God is allowing humans to visit and use that outerspace? That we live in God's mind, like living in someone's dream? That much people take as real and proven, has but dream evidence and is not real?

Or, something else? Like the timing of the coming Millenium? And who is the AC, and what the AC actually is? See Hitler anywhere on the world stage. God win's Law.

Do you want to know how the second coming happens?

Or, why God has defrauded the wicked with the lie of evolution? He warned us through Paul this great lie was coming.

It engages archeology, astronomy, micro physics, astro physics, medical science... and so much more.

Can you even begin to believe that?

No offense, but unless you consistently have had strong, powerful miracles, I do not think so.

I am not crazy, not stupid, and not cursed.

Maybe think about these claims -- if you need such information.

If you are anxious for immortality, this is the way.

But, people just vaguely believe that. Though it is available now and here.

We won't have to put up a fight. We don't age.

Once we are discovered, everyone else will be defeated.
