Evolution of Adam

Has anyone here read "The Evolution of Adam" by Peter Enns?

I'm about 2 or 3 chapters in and it seems like he sides with critical scholarship a little more than most people would probably be comfortable with. I'm not exactly sure what I think about it, still have quite a way to go.

Does anyone have any thoughts on it or similar works to it?

I haven't read it, but from those I've discussed it with who have, it sounds like a pretty solid, useful, and good book. I have read most of "coming to peace" (which is very good, spot-on, and useful), and Enns' book seems to be similar.

Dana b - Most of what you have posted appears to me to be non-scriptural, contradicted by actual evidence, and not very useful to the discussion. So, sorry, it didn't stike me as helpful.
