Evolution is about changes to living things. Rain storms are about little drops of water falling from the sky. Dice throwing is about little cubes. Not all who call themselves Christians are actually Christians. There are tares among us, and not just a few.
If you need that belief to be a moral person and your morality would crater without it, it works for you.

Nope, you believe because you want to belive. You dont know or even understand the data.
That was the point. If the book can not be used to definitively set Christian morality then it seems a poor method to use.
To be 'biblically' moral one must be led by the Holy Spirit. That doesn't take anything away from secular morality however. Any moral behavior is good.
