The Preservation of Favoured Races and Mein Kampf are pro-evolution, aren't they?

On The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life was most definitely 'pro-evolution'. It also used 'Races' to mean varieties in terms of selection. Nice 'title-mine' though. (has anyone ever used that term before? Or even that tactic?)

And Hitler pretty much fell right in line with your crowd... "Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

creation vs. evolution debates...

It wasn't so much a debate so much as 'Here's some evidence'... 'nope, you're still wrong!'

'You've never observed this, therefore it's a fairytale!'
'We have observed it...'
'Nope, you're still wrong!'

I believe i have seen posts of yours which says the earth is 6,000 years old.
Indeed you have ... have you also seen the ones where I say it is also 4.5 billion years old?

Hitler and flat earth always end up in creation vs. evolution debates...

Care to answer my question about what books on evolution you've read or are you going to be like Sarah Palin on newspapers?

Did you already forget in so few posts that you said science can't "measure the future". I showed you wrong by linking some examples of scientific predictions. I can't believe how adamant you are in regards to missing the point entirely.

We agree how it works here, but are you sure you agree with how it works all the way out in Jupiter's orbit?
Yes. Until I have reason to doubt, why would I?

So you say Jupiter is in our same state even though you've also insinuated that distant stars are not because you insist that we can't know if what we see are extrasolar planets when we find evidence of them or observe them directly. At what distance to the laws of physics change to your new state? And what evidence do you have of these different states again?

I insinuate a lot more than that! I insinuate you do not really know what a star is. Nor how far or big it is.
Or is the state only the same or different depending on what argument you're trying to make?
The backyard of man, our solar system seems to have our rules..at least on the surface. The interior of the sun or earth etc is another matter...
Also, it's not as simple as dropping an apple. It's more like a falling apple hitting the top-side of a moving semi truck at speed, which is travelling under a different tree, but the semi has an apple-attraction force. Had the comet just been placed a few thousand kilometers from Jupiter and then let go, then your analogy might be a more accurate representation.
No. We know how things work in the fishbowl.
Lastly, I actually was taking Astronomy 101 in college at the time the impact was happening. I got to see the comet breaking up and plummeting to Jupiter 1st hand through a telescope. Pretty cool stuff.
Right, things do impact....maybe it was flood debris ? Who knows?

So you've contradicted both yourself and the bible?

Don't get him started on his "embedded age" nonsense -- it's "maturity without history," which is supposed to make it completely different from omphalos.

It's not, but he really needs to believe this.

Ah, so playing the sneaky god card. Gotcha.

As ridiculous I find your hypothesis, it's a relief you've finally decided to start describing something measurable about it. So, to confirm:

Only our solar system is subject to the same laws of physics we see here on earth, with the exception of the planetary and solar interiors.

Ok. So if Voyager 1 makes it completely beyond the heliopause before running out of power (estimated some time in 2020), and it's communication delay is still exactly as predicted, you'll stop with the "changing state" nonsense?

Flood debris indeed. Since comets are part of the solar system, then they are subject to the same physical laws as we are here on earth -- so even according to your same-state scenario, the total mass of all the comets we've discovered is about 2% of the sun's mass, or 2x10^28kg. That is 10 times the mass of Jupiter. The earth's mass is about 6x10^24kg. If the comets were made from the flood waters of earth, then you're saying the earth lost thousands of times it's own mass during the flood. Where was all this water before the flood? Do you have any idea the crushing gravity of an object of that mass? So, rather than understanding things that we can see, measure, and confirm, you'd rather believe that the earth used to be a giant water ball, 10 times the size of Jupiter, and the flood shot all that water into space, and we're left with a rinky-dink little earth as long as it means you don't have to cope with reality?
