Did you know that Americans killed 1.2 million babies each year.
So is your answer to get rid of all the Christians so the sinners are left alone to do what they want?Do you honestly believe that a policeman that looks the other way and does nothing while a rape and murder takes place is condoning that act of evil?

No. My response was not to get rid of Christians, or ask them to believe differently. So is your answer to get rid of all the Christians so the sinners are left alone to do what they want?
Actually God addressed evil on earth in a different way He sent Himself to take the punishment for it. This way He preserved your rite to do evil and would not treat you like a robot.No. My response was not to get rid of Christians, or ask them to believe differently.
I was only pointing out that having knowledge of an act of evil and having the power to stop that act requires one to act against that evil or be seen as condoning it.
Your God may have reasons for allowing evil to continue and people to suffer, but in allowing it, He is responsible for it. To say He is not, seems rather foolish.

No It isn't a lesson in biology it is a lesson in spirituality. Actually I am not really going to pursue this further as it is just pedantics and probably suffered at the hands of translators. God was not out to deceive -if you can prove otherwise I will listen.
And yet the fact remains, god does nothing.
(and I disagree about "babies" being killed, but that's beside the point)
So, He curses the creation with sickness, mental illness, famine, tornadoes, birth defects and other "evil" so that He could set up a system whereby we must believe something that has little evidence support it in order to avoid an eternity of punishment that makes earthly evil look like paradise.Actually God addressed evil on earth in a different way He sent Himself to take the punishment for it. This way He preserved your rite to do evil and would not treat you like a robot.

You do understand don't you that the Gospels were written well after the event and although inspired can also contain the limited understanding of the writer. You see this when two writers re-count the same event slightly differently. Was God out to deceive? - hardlyYou asked me to show you what I view as places where the bible is wrong in matters of biology. Stating that mustard plants become trees, even in that context, is still suggesting that mustard plants actually become trees when in reality they don't. If the writer didn't think mustard plants had these qualities, they wouldn't have been used in that context.

I thought the Gospel writers were inspired by God. Does inspiration fail to prevent error? You do understand don't you that the Gospels were written well after the event and although inspired can also contain the limited understanding of the writer.
