No. Some are able to admit they believe on faith and dont pretend other people are misled if they dont agree with them. Others, need to convince themselves they have evidence for their belief and anyone who doesnt see it, is wrong.Isn't that the story for every religious belief?
I don't think there are many religious people who will ever admit that they could possibly be wrong.No. Some are able to admit they believe on faith and dont pretend other people are misled if they dont agree with them. Others, need to convince themselves they have evidence for their belief and anyone who doesnt see it, is wrong.
They don't have to spend time and money defending freedom around the world, feeding the hungry, healing the sick, etc. So they can sit back, "let George (Washington) do it", and enjoy their traditional lifestyles. Greece (and Brexit), is their "canary in the coal mine'. I hope they're paying attention.
Where do you think those European countries get the money to do all that good stuff? They all have huge trade surpluses with us, not to mention our contribution to NATO and to the U.N. They are not pulling their weight, we are.
Even assuming that this is even only remotely true, it still doesn't add up.
Are you seriously suggesting that kids in US highschool get served deep fried crap, because the US military is engaged overseas?
That Americans stuff themselves with McDonalds and Kentucky Fried Chicken, while drinking a large coke, because the military is engaged overseas?
Your logic simply does not add up. Not even remotely.
You seem to be suffering from a seriously delusional superiority complex.
And once again: even if what you said is remotely true, it does not add up in the conclusion "...and that's why we feed our kids crappy food".
I don't think there are many religious people who will ever admit that they could possibly be wrong.
Saying they believe by faith amazes me, Muslims and believers in other religions believe by faith and Christian think they are all wrong, how so? they got where they are through "Faith" and faith is supposed to be the pathway to truth, it's the exact same "Faith" Christians use but the others got it all wrong.

I didn't make that connection. I'm saying that Americans don't have time to linger over lunch, we're too busy defending the free world.
And do you consider this a serious argument?
Really?
I thought Christians in the US were not bothered about works or deeds, for them just believing is enough, that's why most American are wasteful.Faith combined with work/deeds is a powerful spiritual combination.![]()
More of an overview. Americans are crude by European standards. We haven't yet learned to make an art form out of everything we do. Nor do we have the inclination.
Just read the posts in this thread byJoshua, what is the point of this thread? In you first post, you made absolutely ZERO mention of the Paleo diet. In fact, your only comment on diet was that since you had gained weight after loosing weight from a yo-yo diet, that you feel that invalidates the theory of evolution.
Try, for once, concisely and clearly explaining what this thread is about from your OP.
Just read the posts in this thread by

I want YOU to
This is a joke right? defending the free world from what?I'm saying that Americans don't have time to linger over lunch, we're too busy defending the free world.
