Not all claims are equal. I think people of a sound mind would know the difference.
False. People that cannot see the spiritual at all, could see a town, or a virgin. The supernatural stuff requires a bit more to see....like being alive in the spirit.

There are several failed prophecies I can mention without even trying.
Of course there is the Tyre prophesy. Supposedly the city was to be obliterated forever and it still exist and is healthy today. The king who the prophesy was aimed at has been dead for over 2,000 years.
Just about any prophecy involving Israel's old rival Egypt has failed.
The Nile has not dried up,Ezekiel 30:12. Egypt has not been destroyed Ezekiel 30: 11-12. Isaiah did not do much better. He too predicted that the Nile would dry up Isaiah 19 1-8 and that the sea would dry. There are of course others but those will do for now.

Not all prophesies have complete final fulfillment yet. Of course. Many have had a good taste of things too come though!
The prophesies fulfilled, then, refer to prophesies already fulfilled. Such as the Captivity, the destruction of Jerusalem, Messiah's birth and death, etc etc etc.
And the Apostle Paul made clear that that foolishness that he was writing about it is that which accompanies THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST.

I know about science....it is foolishness. God agrees.that they have no one to blame but themselves when they convince people that they have nothing of value to offer others. Many readers have probably noticed the famous theologian's quote in the signature field on some CF posts where he says that if Christians pontificate on things like science which they know nothing about, and sound like fools, they should not expect anyone to trust them on spiritual matters. (If it weren't 2am perhaps my brain would function and tell me who said that! Drat.)

Baloney. So called science is like a kick around toy, why would I get angry? God does seem to be angry at the lukewarm though....people supposedly believing the bible yet not who do not really at all.And then they finally get angry, complain that everyone is Satanic, wish them eternal torment, and then run away without EVERY showing any evidence or even making sense.

I have a question about the Tyre prophecy which I have pursued for many years. I'm recalling from memory here but if I remember correctly, Ezekiel said that Tyre would be so utterly destroyed that the spot would remain desolate and be nothing but a place where fishermen stretch their nets. (Is that correct?)
Yet at that location today there is a thriving city and that beach property along the sea doesn't provide much room for fisherman's nets! In fact, I've heard that there are a lot of hotels and tourists filling up the beaches there. There could well be a fascinating answer for this which would better explain the prophecy---but I've never had the time and priority to pursue that one. Can anybody explain that one for me: The mystery of the nothing-but-fisherman's-nets prophecy?
