QV please (thanks, Frumious Bandersnatch, for your excellent work here) --- 2.

Those "ordained processes of chemistry" are a little out of sync, aren't they?

Out of sync with what? Genesis 1?

Not my problem - I'm not a "literalist."

Did I not just show you where He can use rocks?

You do know what rocks are, don't you?

And not only that, but can implant the Hebrew's genetic code into them with no problem?

Maybe you should watch "Cosmic Voyage." It's narrated by Morgan Freeman; who can say no to that? It'll probably tickle you when he says "Whatever is beyond the edge of the visible universe, we cannot see... and do not know," because I know how you love to bring that up.

And in doing so, would be performing abiogeneis.

Here's the thing, Cabal --- (I'm going to speak as a TE for a moment here):

In atheistic doctrine, if you reverse engineer life, it stops at the inanimate.

But, in TE doctrine, if you reverse engineer life, you can take it one step further than the inanimate --- to God.

You guys don't have to go to the edge of the visible universe to encounter what isn't seen --- you can't see it right here on earth.
2 Kings 6:17 said:
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
Hebrews 13:2 said:
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Science is worse than myopic in this area --- science is blind.

And in doing so, would be performing abiogeneis.
Abiogenesis does not entail giving life TO rocks, replete with DNA coding of an existing nation.

Once again, abiogenesis would be life coming FROM rocks.

No problem at all --- let me say it again:

In God's eyes, there is no such thing as abiogenesis.

I suspect I know rocks quite a bit better than you do. I also have some limited experience with mineral surface chemistry, but don't let that stand in your way.

(hint: an appreciation of mineral surface chemistry helps not only understand how gasoline is made for your car, but also how life might have arisen, which helps overcome the usual "creationist personal incredulity"...but if you bothered to learn any of that you might lose your incredulity and you'd have to face the real world. Rocks and all.

I like the way "rocks" are so useful to you when you read the word in the bible, but when the rocks speak a billion volumes of data that indicate literal Genesis might be in error, well, suddenly those holy rocks can take a hike.

(I intensely love it when I see double standards. I just love it.)

Do you now?

Good for you --- I won't dispute that --- (I'm not that dumb.)

How's come I happen to know though, that rocks would hold a genetic code if God ordained it?

I know --- it wouldn't be a rock anymore --- it would be a Hebrew --- but that's one doosey of a metamorphic rock, eh?

Do they teach that in science church?

Oh, I won't --- believe me. Wow --- byproducts of petrology can make a car go.

Let's see one make a human being.

And what does it mean when you use "understand" and "might" in the same sentence?

Maybe you have rocks saying things that Jesus says they say otherwise:
Luke 19:40 said:
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

Well, the second is what actually happened. God can easily have caused it.

Wow, I didn't realize someone could say that many words all strung together and yet have no technical meaning!

Of course an imaginary being whom you think can do anything can do any particular thing you think he can!

Bravo!

I know --- it wouldn't be a rock anymore --- it would be a Hebrew --- but that's one doosey of a metamorphic rock, eh?

A thing is what it is and not some other thing.

Do they teach that in science church?

What that you can imagine, based on something someone wrote who wasn't a scientist that "god" can do anything he wants? Sorry, but that's called SUNDAY SCHOOL.

byproducts of petrology can make a car go.

Actually I was more referring to humanities understanding of CATALYTIC PROPERTIES of zeolite and other inorganic surfaces and I used to work for a guy who was investigating the catalytic role of natural clay surfaces in the alteration of organics. But I'm sure you are probably asleep right now.

Let's see one make a human being.

Ummmm, let's see GOD MAKE ONE.

And what does it mean when you use "understand" and "might" in the same sentence?

That I'm being HONEST about the limits of our knowledge? That I'm giving you the truth with its subtleties?

Ok....so there's no problem then.

If God engineered the process, then effectively He gave the inanimate life.

I'd quit while you're ahead on this one, AV.
