Sun-god priests would shave a circular bald spot on their heads to identify themselves as priests of Ra. The Egyptians would also shape and wrap their beards into a phallic symbol.

It is thought that the skull cap worn by Catholic priests and Jews (the beanie and yamaka) is a remnant of that ancient idolatrous priesthood, and was (ironically) intended to protect the shaved area of the head from exposure to the hot sun.

If the beard is intentionally shaved for the purpose of looking younger, you are lying.

If the beard grew naturally or your chin is going bald naturally, you are not lying.

Truth is I only look younger than I am. I often feel every one of my 75 years, especially when I get out of bed in the morning.

You do understand that "nature" in evolution theory is a matter of permanent change, don´t you?
I´m not sure where you get the idea from that we owe our anchestors to model their behaviour. Whereever you´ve got it from - it certainly isn´t evolution theory.

Shaving your beard.... that's just good hygiene.
