And your evidence for this is progress in medical science????
Sure. Did you want Voo Doo? Because I could go there instead. It's a bit older.

Science isn't "miraculous".

It is, but that wasn't my point. My claim is that if "miraculous healings" do exist, they are the result of natural processes as God had planned them. And not divine intervention.

Or VooDoo. That's works too. I accidently discovered VooDoo methodology. Or at least I figured out how it works by accident.

They do now? First I've heard of this.

"Faith healings" were the first part of religion (any religion) that I learned could be deliberately fraudulent. (See for example the faith healing scams of Peter Popov.)

That dont make science any different
God can make nature look sentient.

Mark 4:41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Looks like we need clearer definitions of 'miracle' and 'miraculous'. In this context, I'd expect the former to involve supernatural intervention and the latter to describe what appears to be a miracle.

But both terms are commonly used for unusually rare, and/or unexpected, and/or beneficial events.

And they are also documented by science. (Which also has been documented as deliberately fraudulent, by researchers)
Placebos: The power of the placebo effect - Medical News
Here is an academic explanation of some of those practices:

"Energy Medicine is based upon the pseudo-scientific premise that the human body encompasses an energetic “life force” and energy centres (chakras) that keep the body’s cells healthy, functioning and alive.

Energy healing is a holistic practice where healers channel universal life force (or healing energy) into a patient to help balance, heal and remove blockages from the body. Flow, balance, harmony and vitality within the body can be restored and maintained during a treatment. Energy Medicine includes a variety of holistic healing modalities like: Reiki Energy Healing, Light Therapy, Acupuncture, Reflexology, Thai Massage, Tapping, and more."

SOURCE

Keep in mind that that is the academic explanation, which means it appeals to the intellect, not necessarily the truth.

In the case of the above, they are demonic practices with technological explanations.

Just so you know...it is.

Well then "faith healing" isn't all that impressive if it's just a ordinary effect like the placebo effect. (And here I thought it was more "exciting"..)

You'll have to be more specific on what are demonic practices and your source on that. Just saying "All that stuff" is not very accurate as to why.
