CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

1. There is no such thing as an evolutionist. There are evolutionary biologists who study evolution, and the layman who accepts evolution for the reality that it is.
2. Evolution has NOTHING to do with the origin of life. It only explains the DIVERSITY of life.

Humans are animals, and there is enourmous amounts of evidence to support the theory that humans evolved.
Only the second one is.
Evolution and abiogenesis are not chance, they have specific mechanisms, which are NOT random.
NO, the simplest form of life is self-replicating molecules, and are made of very few parts.
The self-replicating molecules could. OH wait, it wasn't by chance.
Those laws ONLY have to do with life once it's here.
Evolution, BIg Bang, abiogenesis, and any scientist never said that.
It is, which is why no one ever said that.
THat's not proof against evolution.
