For me, music respectable music collections have got to include ROBBIE WILLIAMS. His not big in the US (though basically everywhere else he's huge), but to everyone else in the world, it's true what they say. He's the greatest entertainer in the world, the rock n' roll saviour, and he's not afraid to be different. Every music collection should include Robbie Williams.

(Well, I love it, anyway)
Awesome album.

I'd probably say that for must-own albums I'd suggest:
Peter Murphy's Love Hysteria
The Sisters Of Mercy's Floodland and Vision Thing
The Goo Goo Dolls' Gutterflower
U2's The Best Of 1980-1990
Van Halen's 1984 and 5150
Orgy's Vapor Transmission (I don't own the CD, but I've heard all but one of the tracks from it, mainly from disinterest in the lyrics of that song in particular; if I could buy this album, I would in an instant)

and even though I haven't heard the entire albums (in either case), but knowing the strength of the band (and one of the albums from reviews), the samples I've heard, the couple of full tracks I've heard from one of them, and several full tracks from the other, I can confidently say (even if I'm so poor that I don't have these CDs):

Skinny Puppy's Too Dark Park and Singles Collection

and another album which I've heard most of the tracks from:

Stabbing Westward's Darkest Days

Very good list, WaZoO - covers just about everyone's musical tastes I think! And live recordings from DMB are also, shall I say, necessary!! :D
