  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

"Every problem has a solution."
YHWH provides what is needed,
yet people fail.

A lot of retired people, or people on some kind of monthly pay without working,
don't know how to work in God's Kingdom - even though He says or provides a way to......
It's not just the medicine addicted people refusing to work.

Some people must retire to make room for younger workers to enter the job market (I'm not one of those however....still working). :D What's worse is that as technology advances even fewer workers will be needed to provide the needs for everyone. We can only dream up so many 'make work' jobs.

Hmmmm.....
the people who retired, early or not,
KNEW their job and accomplished it effectively without so much waste and fraud and abuse
as the younger people who took their places.

ALSO - God did not way work six days for pay. Just work.

True, there is a learning and a maturity curve for the young workers.

In the millennium each will toil for their own benefit (their own 'vine and fig tree').

I sorry, But most young people I know work. Unless they're on drugs. And that's when I was in my late teens. And they were in their 20's with kids. Most of them have straighten their lives out. I don't see many young people refusing to work. Maybe they look elsewhere. I even encourage my 9 YEAR OLD nephew to open his eyes to Europe countries. Since he's smart and they can use them.

Don't be sorry (well, yes, weep as Jesus says for others, but for here) don't be sorry. It is good if it is well with their souls are saved that those you know or knew worked instead of not working.

I don't know what working has to do with saved souls.

One problem with employment in the modern age is that there are too many one-of-a-kind jobs that no one ever heard of, no schools to learn these skills, and no on-the-job-training for such. In years past the help wanted ads had column after column of familiar jobs. Now there is column after column of strange sounding jobs that require advanced degrees or experience in such. Technology has outpaced our educational capacity to service these new fields. Also applicant requirements are often more stringent than the skills needed for the job.

I think many young Americans know they can get brain smart Technology jobs. And don't waist their live on those jobs. So they seek the brain smart Technology jobs and get hired. Ant they prefer air conditioner jobs too.

That's why universal basic income is a conversation that needs to be had sooner rather than later.

The majority of conventional jobs will likely be automated in the next 100 years.

Universal basic income would be like sharing all the food on earth......everyone would go to bed hungry.

There are many more 'young Americans' than there are 'brain smart technology jobs'. And if these young Americans are going to insist on their drug habits they aren't going to get any jobs. See the op video.

Not at all. There's more than enough food for everyone. Did you know world hunger could be eradicated for a yearly sum of what the U.S. spends on defence spending in 36 hours?

And that's just the U.S.

Neither is going to happen.
