*Kelli got up and walked around the castle, she was showed her room and new clothes. Kelli picked up a light, gold silk gown from the bureau. She changed quickly then called a maid into the room to do her hair, when the maid was finished kelli's hair was french braided four times over, and then fell loose down her back. All in all, she looked more beautiful than usual. Kelli left her room and went in search of someone to talk to*

Zhashban accepted the ((What's Atlas' title anyways?)) protectorate's view and rode on in silence. The sun was still creeping along, but sooner than Zhashban had realized, evening settled in. Turning again to Atlas, Zhashban vocalized his opinion of the moment, "I believe this is a good place to rest the men before tomorrow's journey. We can see the horizon in almost any direction and are well protected from any surprise attack. The men will need to be rested if they are to take part in battle tomorrow."

"A wise move Zhashban. I agree." Atlas replied and ordered the men to set up camp. Atlas and Zhashban set up their own tent so that Zhashban could explain the political view of the overall kingdom and more specifically of his city. While setting up camp Atlas' sleave fell and revealed his forearm. Inbedded deep into it was the iron head on a lion. It was an ancient symbol dating back to Atlantis, the tribal leaders held the heads of beast showing which tribe they led. The lion was the title for high king and Emoria followed it. As Lord Protector of the Empire and Relm Atlas should not have the sacred (for lack of a better word) mark of king.

Zhashban helped as well as he could in setting up the tent and hardly noticed anything. Somehow, however, he noticed the insignia on Atlas' forearm. Zhashban paused, but only for a second. He continued to ponder the strange reason for Atlas having the symbol of the King of Emoria on his forearm, but gave no voice to his question as he would save it for a later discussion.

Soon, the tent was put up and Zhashban and Atlas would have some time to talk. Assembling a small fire and setting a couple of rations of food on the fire to cook, Zhashban sat down and looked at Atlas. Zhashban was determined to underfong ((Balderdash word! Means "to determine")) why Atlas had the insignia, and lowered his voice as he asked, "I am no fool when it comes to politics and history. I saw the sacred sign of the King of Emoria engraved on your forearm. What is the meaning of this?"

Atlas leaned backward and thought, then slowly as the fire reflected off his handsome features he began to speak.
"What does it mean? Many things. If you are a imperial loyalist it means I wish to overthrow the boy emperor and usurp the throne. If you are an Atlantian radical it means I wish to revive the empire, if you are a rebel it means I am not to be trusted. What does it mean? It means the boy who holds the title of Emperor is no more rightful ruler than the illigitamate son of a merchants daughter and a fisherman. It means that I am the older brother of the Old Emperor. It means I am King. But do you believe me? And most importantly, does it matter. I am the only politician who could hold this country together, the army is loyal to me, the greater rebels respect me and the people, ah the people. The people trust me. What does it mean? What does it matter? You decide."

Zhashban pondered this challenge of Atlas' for a while before responding, "I see. So you are the true ruler of all of Emoria and the far reaches of the Old Empire...Both a curse and a blessing. Both a destiny and a history. I know now the meaning. I am yours to command, my emperor. Many in Yitai would do the same. They would die for you. However, I feel that you should not propogate your position. There are those, especially the power-hungry members of the Assembly that would rather see you dead than alive and to them, threaten their power. First, we must deal with the barbarians classified by civil nature. Then, we will deal with the barbarians of politics. This is my humble opinion."

Scott had been sitting just outa of sight of atlas's camp he had decided to make sure he got back to kelli. so he stayed in the same place and watched him for the rest of the night to make sure nothing happened to him.

Zhashban contemplated Atlas' point as he fell into bed. He could not sleep at first as he thought about the high responsibility that fate had just imposed upon him. It was true, what Atlas had said. The barbarians would follow them if they had respect. The political barbarians would never follow. They were almost surely a lost cause, though not all. After a while, Zhashban finally decided on a plan of action and fell asleep.

While sleeping, a strange dream came to Zhashban. He saw a large, green oak surrounded by fields of grass. Time flew quickly and Zhashban noticed as the all the seasons were passed through several times. After some time, a great knot grew in the trunk of this mighty tree. The knot continued to grow and deform until it became a mighty arm with axe in hand. The arm swung the axe and cut down the mighty oak tree in one swing and the oak fell with a mighty crash. A great hole formed under the stump of the tree and sucked the stump in to itself so that all that was left was the trunk and branches of the tree. Many years passed and two sapplings grew out of the decaying tree. The first grew slowly, soon overtook by the second and then surpassed. Soon, the second oak shaded nearly all of the mighty fallen oak. It was then that a mighty wind came and blew this second oak down, and it could be seen that the roots of this tree were sparse. Now the first sappling rose up, but did not grow so quickly as the second. It spread its roots far and wide and would only grow as its roots allowed. Ages past and still the oak stood, now a great oak, surpassing even the mighty oak itself, though not as filled with splendour. Then, the dream faded and died away.

remial watchedas kelli and the stranger walked away together but he thought nothing of it as he took a large biteof a pastry he was eating. his dwarfs were inspecting the position, but he then remembered that he needed to tell kelli something the dwarfs had told him to tell her. he went the way they hadgone but didnt catch up with them

A beautiful sunrise marked the new morning as Zhash eased his way out of the small tent. Taking time to enjoy the sunrise, however, was not on Zhash's schedule. Still pondering the strange dream of last night, Zhash went about the routine of gathering wood for a fire and preparing a light breakfast. Seeing that Atlas was still asleep, Zhash put on a double serving of sausage and eggs, hoping the scent my be pleasing to the waking nose of Atlas.

Atlas stirred strangely in his sleep he had a strange feeling of unnamed fear, in his sleep he began to turn and shake. At the point when his fear climaxed however he awoke, a cold sweat moistening his brow. "Landreus!" he shouted. "What happened? Where is he?" he asked still half in a dream although awake
