This is my attempt to translate the famous poem "Evening Star". I've found a translation but it wans't... well, accure enough, so I'm trying to make a better translation. Warning, you must be patient if you want to read it all, and its not aLL done :O just like half... its a beautiful love story... hope you like it. (credit goes to Mihai Eminescu for making it in his language)
There was as in the fairy tales
As never in time's raid
Out of great royal blood
A too beautiful maid.
Single daughter of her dad
In everything good; see
As between the stars it is the moon
Between the saints Mary.
From the shadow of the gates
Her step now she directs
Towards the window, where
A bright evening star expects.
She saw above the seas
How it shines with light to all
And on the moving pats, the ships
It guides them not to fall.
She looks today, she looks tomorrow
And so her wish she sees
And Evening Star, looking at her
Fallen in love he seems.
How she was sitting at the window
Her dreaming head looks up
Suddenly for his sake
Her soul and mind fill up.
And how strong he starts to shine
Every evening night
Towards the shadows of the castle
When she comes in his sight.

Following her steps
Into her room he glides
And from his cold sparks
On blazing sheets he rides.
When in her bed the child
Lays being asleep almost
Evening Star touches her chest
And her eye slowly closes
As it looked in the mirror
He falls on her with light,
On her beating closed eyes
At her pretty face's sight.
She smiles widely
He trembles and starts to shiver
For he's following her dream
On her heart to hook forever.
And she was speaking while asleep
A sighing hardly whisper
"Oh, my sweet Lord of the night
Why don't you come? Stay here!
Descend down mild evening star
You can glide on a beam
Enter my house and my mind
Over my life gleam!"
He listened in a shiver,
Starting to shine for her,
Fallen out of the sky
Towards the seas to fall;
And where he has fallen
The water spins like rings
And out of the deep unknown
A wonderful man springs,
He jumps like over a stair
Through her room's window
In his hand he has a rod
Like made of cones and vow.
He seems a young voivod
With golden hair amazed
A purple scarf is tied knot
Around his very waist.
But the shadow of his face
Was whited than a candle
A handsome dead with living eyes
That seem out of his head to glister.
"Out of my sphere I hardly came
Listening to your call and thee,
The sky my father is
My mother is the sea.
To get in your room
And your beauty to see
I descended with my light
And was born in the sea
Oh, come my beauty now
Your world leave aside
My name is Evening Star
And you shall be my bride
Thou shall reign in the sea
In pearl palaces stay
And everyone in the sea
You they will obey!"
"Oh you are handsome
As in a dream an angel shows
But the way you opened
For me is ever closed...
Strangly you speak and behave
Lifeless you are shining,
For you are dead, I am alive
And your eye feels so frosting..."
Passed one day, passed three
And night comes again
With his cold and mild rays
Evening Star to shine begun.
While dreaming the girl
Really had to remember
And for the sea lord's love
She starts again to tremble:
"Descend down, mild evening star
Thou can glide on a beam
Enter my house and my mind
Over my life gleam!"
Hearing her voice again
With pain he puts out his fire
And the sky starts to spin
Where he died out of desire.
In the sky, over all earth
His sparks spread out
And outta the black chaos
A wonderful shilluete comes out.
On the dark hair of his head
His crown seems to burn,
He was floating in truth
And bathed in the sun.
Out of his black garment
His arms come out ahead,
He is coming sad and thinking
But his face still looks dead.
Still his big shiny eyes
Glow deeply and scary
Like two passions that don't cease
Filled with darkness heavy.
"Outta my sphere I came again
To follow thy call and light
My father is the sun
My mum is the night.
Oh, come my beauty
And thy world leave side
I am Evening Star
And you shall be my bride!
Come, and in thy hair
I'll put star crowns that shine
And in the sky, there
You will be sooo bright!"
"Oh, you are handsome
As in a dream a demon shows
But the way you opened
For me is ever closed
'Cuz of your very love
All my ribs hurt
My eyes are big and heavy
Your look makes me feel burnt!"
"How then should I come?
Ah... Can't you comprehend?
That you're a living mortal
While I am undead?"
"I don't seek chosen words
Don't even know to start
Though you speak with understanding
I don't get one part...
But if you want in truth
Me to love forever thee
You come down to earth
Be mortal, just like me!"
"You ask for my immortality
For one single kiss?!

And he goes... He kept going
For the love of a man offspring
He fell out form his place up high
And several days kept dieing.

A sly kid and a brat
Who pours wine into the glasses
Of the guests and that
Carries from behind
The queen's royal dress
He was a very sly teen
As no one would have guess.
With two red cheecks
Like apples, the teen
Hides behind a corner
Gazing at Kristine.
And how pretty she has got
And tall and beautiful too
Hey, Christopher, now is your day
A lucky day for you!
While walking he grabbed her slow
In a corner filled with bliss
"What do you want, Christopher?
Leave me alone, ..please?"
"What I want? I want
You to stop always thinking
To laugh more and deliver
Only one kiss, my darling!"
"You have no idea what you ask,
Leave me alone, run forever!
Oh, that Evening Star..
I miss him more than ever"
"If you don't know, I could
Bit by bit show you love
Just don't get angry at me
Don't slap me with your glove
How a hunter in the forest
Throws a net animals to catch;
When I strech out my left arm to hug
You with your arms my hug match;
And your brautiful eyes
Keep under mine not moving
When I slightly lift your shoulders
From your hills start rasing!
Whan I look down in your eyes
You look back up at me
And every time we meet
Longing we should be!
And for you my dear
Love to be known totally
When I bend and kiss your lips
You again kiss me!"

Amazed but confused
A bit shy and cutely
Sometimes she got losed.
And softly she says "Since we
Were just kids me and thee
You were stubborn and proud
You were so much like me;
But an Evening Star above
Risen from forgetting silence
Never stop doing his jobs
Disturbs the sea's lonelyness...
And I always close my eyes
Crying filled with bitter
Because she waves that travell
At him seem to shatter;
He shines with great love, my pain
To heal with his beam
But he always gets highed
So I can not reach him;
He sadly shines with cold rays
From his world into our
Always I'll love him and always
He will remain far...
My days are sad
As a dessert that is hot
But nights are holy 'n charming
Can't konw why with my thought."

Ocupied the skies and beyonds
Thousands of year ways passed
In just a few seconds.
Above is full of stars
And full of stars below
He seemed an endless flash
Faster than a slingshot throw.
And out of chaos' grasp
Everywhere arround him
Like in the first creation day
Lights start to suddenly beam;
And as a sea, they get
Arround Evening Star and over
He flies, like a dreaming thought
Till it's all over, over,
For where he goes is no limit
Not anything eye's seen
And time and space fail
From nothing trying to be
There's nothing, but still there is
A thirst that sucks him all
It's an abyss even worse
Than black blindness to fall.
"From the black eternity
Father, set me free
And honoured in the whole world
Let your name forever be;
O, ask Lord, any price
But give me other fate
For you are the spring of life
And also giver of death;
Take back my endless life
And the eye flames that devour
And for all, give me just,
Just love for one hour.
Out of nothing I appeared
I would go back to nothing...
Motionless I have appeared
I would stop again moving..."
"Hyperion, who form thy knees
Rise up with a whole world
Do not seek signs and miracles
That have never been told;
You want a human to be,
Be like them alike?!
They won't cease to exist
Even if with death I strike.
They just last for a little

With cold lights charm

My night canst calm just you.
And always here remain
Stop my flowing pain's strea,
For you are my first love
And you're my last dream!"
Hyperion was looking frmo above
And surprized by their charms
He just touched her face
And she caught him in her arms.
The smell of silver flowers

And a soft rain is pouring
In the forest, there...
She's carried away by love
But lifts her eyes and sees
