CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

None, really. But I did send a Christmas card to one friend from high school this last Christmas, and she sent me one back. We had a good time in HS hanging out together.

Only one chick from high school. She and I weren't friends in HS, but we knew each other. She moved to Texas and showed up at church one Sunday. She and her family ended up joining and now we're friends. But other than that, nobody. I don't know if that really even counts, but, yea.

I'm still friends with the same five girls. Four of us have known each other since we were 15. The other one has been my best friend since we were 4. I am almost 32 so that is quite a long time. And my husband went to high school with me too. But we were just friends and didn't date until I was 25. He was off limits in high school due to one of my best friends was in love with him. Keeping our friendship is really important to us so we all call each other almost 3 times a week. And try to have a "girl-date" every so often. But my best friend lives in Ohio and I am in Florida so I haven't seen her in 3 years but we talk every week. I miss her alot.

Just doing the best I can.
My best friend from high school is still my best friend, and was the maid of honour at my wedding in 2004. Although, we actually knew each other before high school. We met at camp when we were 11, and then just happened to end up going to the same high school later. We just clicked right from the beginning, and no matter what changes we go through in our lives, the friendship is always there, unchanged. It's not even something we've worked at, it's just something that's always been there.
A few months ago I looked up another friend from high school and sent her an e-mail, and she responded rather aloofly. When I e-mailed her again, she didn't respond. So I think she wasn't interested in rekindling the friendship.

On a weekly basis just 1. My best friend works side by side with me after this many years we can't get a break from one another.
