You are suggesting that Jesus said something that was not true, but that He really meant ..insert your pet alternative here....No, it was language that would have been understood by the people of the day. They weren’t “dumb peasants”, but their understanding was limited. For example, they thought that bats were birds. Do you think bats are birds? After all, the Bible says that they are.
Great, so you have an interpretation. So now just be honest and answer whether you really believe God performed the operation on Adam or not? Or do you reeeaaalllly think man descended from the beasts? The original Hebrew says Eve was made from half of Adam.
I gave the Hebrew definition of the word and the first on the list was rib. The issue is not how big a bone you think God took to make Eve, or whether the rib is on the side or whatever. The issue is whether you believe God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man He created, and then took from inside that man some bone and made a real woman with it.But based on the translations he did not do "surgery". Because it's not a rib. It says "side". Just read those links. This is a real event, he did create women but it's details are symbolic not literal.
Why didn't you read my links? Those are from protestant and catholic sites such as gotquestions and catholic answers.
There are no vaccines or rockets that result from origin fable/demon science. I do notice there is talk that the moon and space is being weaponized. Guess you think that was inspired of Jesus!?Ah, demon science. I presume that you didn’t get your various vaccines, after all they were invented by demon science. Do you also deny that American men walked on the moon? That was demon science too.
The fact that it didn’t happen is a pretty good indication. The fact that there are two stories in which the order differs is another. So, what indications are there that confirm that it is allegorical?
I think we can group them with birds. Especially if in the beginning bats may have been somewhat different, who knows? You thought all groupings had to stem from godless so called science? No, it was language that would have been understood by the people of the day. They weren’t “dumb peasants”, but their understanding was limited. For example, they thought that bats were birds. Do you think bats are birds? After all, the Bible says that they are.
No, I am suggesting nothing. I stated that Jesus used the terms that the crowd would understand. You are suggesting that Jesus said something that was not true, but that He really meant ..insert your pet alternative here....
He referred to Eve and Adam. Do you believe they really were people created as the bible says rather than evolved from..heaven knows what imaginary monkey thingie? No, I am suggesting nothing. I stated that Jesus used the terms that the crowd would understand.

I’ve been very direct regarding my beliefs. You act surprised. He referred to Eve and Adam. Do you believe they really were people created as the bible says rather than evolved from..heaven knows what imaginary monkey thingie?
But your last post stated that you claim it did NOT happen, so we know where you stand.
No. The test for god and bad spirits is clear, if they do not confess Jesus came in the flesh they are not of God, period. The demon science fablemongers who produce origin stories in the name of science are not of God, and are directly opposed to God.Ah, so you pick and choose. This is demon science, this isn’t.
Is that the jesus that did not reallly create Eve and Adam, or the actual One?No, based on the teachings of Jesus—loving others—why would it be. Perhaps you need to learn more about Jesus.
I am surprised anyone admits it as many on these forums snake around and slither around always trying to avoid stating their unbelief in the bible.I’ve been very direct regarding my beliefs. You act surprised.

You haven’t even read what I have written. I believe that the creation stories are allegory. That isn’t unbelief. As far as believing in the creation in Genesis, you claimed unbelief and that it did not happen, no? Wear it.
Are you saying I’m not a Christian?I am surprised anyone admits it as many on these forums snake around and slither around always trying to avoid stating their unbelief in the bible.
Me too. Can't both be right though either He made Eve as stated or not.Wrong.
Once again an attack on my faith. I don’t think there are two. The Jesus I believe in is the only Jesus.
I am noting that you claimed that the creation of Adam and Eve was not true. Whether you or anyone else thinks that is a christian position, sorry I could not care less. Are you saying I’m not a Christian?
It is if you say they NEVER happened...need me to go find your quote!?You haven’t even read what I have written. I believe that the creation stories are allegory. That isn’t unbelief.
I didn’t claim that verse was wrong, I claimed that your statement was wrong.Me too. Can't both be right though either He made Eve as stated or not.
By the way here is the test I mentioned that you claimed was wrong
1Jo 4:2 - And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
