Happy New Year, y'all!!! Just wanted to see what's everyone's plans for evangelism is for the new year. I'm planning to add public reading more and also for our group to minister more to the people to help with their needs. Even thinking of setting up a table with tracts, Bibles, bottles of water (can use that to switch to the Living Water)etc. and a sign saying, "Need Prayer?" We will also continue to walk around and pass out tracts, Gospel of Johns, Bibles and have signs.

Just curious what y'all got planned. :)

My Christian club at uni helps out with our uni's food security programs. It's an opportunity to connect with people over a free meal and talk to them about their faith. I'm planning to volunteer for it this year.

I plan on returning to the parks twice a week and sharing the Gospel one to one.
A friend of mine has also written up a calendar with different activities that the community is doing that we can go and share. So, we should have more community events this year. He has set himself a goal of one person per day to share the Gospel with. This will also be my goal. Having a goal like this helps with motivation to get out there as sometimes evangelism can seem like an irksome task.

Awesome, Nathan!!! Funny, another guy in one of my groups mentioned that same goal of 1 person a day! Keep us updated. :)

If you write them and ask for an amount of The Gospel of John, they will send them. I have received 20+The Gospel of John books from them in the past

We have two really big mission fields here.

The first is the LGBT community. We have two huge LGBT enclaves near us and they desperately need the Gospel.

The second is Jehovah's Witnesses. They are everywhere here. They set up their little magazine stand outside of every public building and in every park. They are almost everywhere you turn. And they need the Gospel. So my goal is to reach both of those groups as best I can.

Personally, I have found it harder to share the Gospel with JW's than LGBT. How do you share the Gospel with them?
