317 km/s - Milky Way escape velocity from our vantage point
42 km/s - Escaping our solar system from planet earth
12 km/s - Escaping the gravity from planet earth


The New Horizons space craft is currently traveling at 14.5 km/s. At Neptune the escape velocity is 7.7 km/s. So plenty of speed to escape the gravity of the sun. In contrast to the size of the Milky Way, space probes have really not went that far.

Tell me about the escape velocity of sub-atomic particles from whatever gravity that is holding them together.

Please bear with my ignorance.

Big bodies in space like suns and galaxies, etc. are escaping apart from one another at tremendous velocity; what about sub-atomic particles and fields and forces whatever, I imagine that they are also escaping apart from one another in their sub-atomic distance from one another.

Atomic scale and sub atomic scale particles are affected by the other 3 fundamental forces, that is, the strong and weak nuclear forces, and electricity. Gravity doesn't really effect anything at that level, not in the classic way we tend to think, anyway.
