• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

No, that's not true. Just because there are differences between cultures and dichotomies in situation and status does not mean it will stay that way. If anything, equality may be an inevitability, no matter how long it takes; if it follows the natural model presented on the microcosmic scale.

Talk down to me more, please. I appreciate it.

You're right we'll all have blue eyes and blonde hair if we wait, and wait, and wait long enough. If it doesn't happen it means you didn't have happy thoughts.

I agree that absolute equality is neither possible nor desirable. Economic, social, and legal equality, however, are, and using the impossibility of aboslute equality as a strawman to beat the other equalities with is pretty sad.

I agree that it's probably not desirable; but impossible? I don't know about that. What is there that says or shows that equality is an impossibility at any point in time.

Note that when I am referring to equality, I'm not simply talking about modern social, economic, and legal equality issues. I'm talking about a complete, neutral existence. -A complete equilibrium of being, in regards to the body of humanity. If you look at humanity as a cancerous tumor, which it analogically represents, the differentiation between cultures becomes less and less obvious as cultural boundaries are crossed. It's just like when cancerous cells(cultures) become less and less differentiated over time.

Absolute equality would inherently imply the violation of rights - you would have to restrict individual expression, and culture.
You would violate the nature of humans.

Unless there was no inherent desire for expression, or, unless the individual expression became akin to the expression(or lack thereof) of society.

We've already agreed that it is something that would not be desirable, no one (to my knowledge) actively pushes this trend. However, we all, inactively propagate it.
