This was the best episode by far this season IMO!!!! Hope they just keep getting better!!!

The funniest line of the night for me was:

Desmond to doc: "You're not gonna stick me with THAT, Brotha!!!"

I wasn't surprised to see that it was a mouse; not that I was expecting a mouse.

I noticed the weird mapping thing in his journal as well; I thought it looked similar to the one in the hatch; but I'm not sure they are related.

I was shocked to see that many answers in one epi.

I just can't figure out why someone on the boat left the door open. I just doubt that it was Ben's person b/c it wouldn't make sense for him/her to help them.

I miss posting everyday. My life has gotten hecktick but still the same, I'm getting here as much as I can.

Having said that. Dido on everything I have read so far. I was thinking however that Eloise would be a rabbit not a mouse.

Good post Snooch about Daniel and Desmond. Daniel had enough insite to know that if what Des is saying is true, then he better make sure he knows someone from the past as well as the future.

Did anyone else cry when Des and Penny finally talked on the phone. I was like "YES!"

My husband is slowly becoming a lost fan. He has watched a few with me this season and he said how good tonights was.

I cried so much when Desmond phoned Penny. Aww its so sweet.

I said earlier on in the week that I believed Penny's dad has a part to play. I think he is part of those on the boat.

Anyway did anyone notice that Minkowski is the guy from Short Circuit? I spent the whole episode saying to dh that I had seen Minkowski somewhere before.

I don't remember him being in Short Circuit, but IMDB confirms he was in it. I do remember him from Early Edition.

I told my hubby - there is FINALLY Fisher Stevens - who has been on the credits this entire season; but we hadn't seen him yet. He thought that Faraday was Stevens; but I need to prove to him that it was Minkowski.

My BFF didn't like the episode.

She was really confused about why Daniel wrote down Desmond's name as his constant.

One item that nobody seems to have brought up yet:

One of the pages of Faraday's Journal (from the screenshots) has a diagram of the Kabbalistic 'tree of life' or its first cousin. Rather an odd thing to be in the journal of a physicist, is it not?

If you read the notes on the page you will see what it is referring to. I did notice how similar it did appear though. 3 of the large circles were labled Event A, Event B, and Event C. Perhaps these refer to the Swan System Failures?
