It's ok to be wrong.

Moses had influences from all the scripture of his day. From the beginning to the end (of the Torah). The genesis creation myth has similarities to the epic of Gilgamesh, along with Noah's story.
Another influence Moses had was the book of the dead which had commandments.

Moses took what he had and judged for the Jews whats right.

Then Christ came and set the record straight for all.


Btw, the epic of Gilgamesh is the oldest known text. The book of the dead predates any biblical scripture also.
