Just to let you know, most PMO (Provost Marshall's Office, USMC for MP) guys I know (and they are attached to hubby's unit, so he does all their reenlistment work) hate their jobs.

Until you are an NCO, you will mostly be standing gate duty, and here in beautiful (/sarcasm off) Yuma, that is a pretty miserable job. My neighbor is Crash, Fire, & Rescue, and he does literally nothing all day. Honestly, the guy I know who loves his job the most, besides my hubby, is one of our closest friends back in NC. He is in charge of the Gas Chamber. He has fun watching everyone go in to qualify and come out with snot all over their face

Marines deploy a lot, even in peace time, so prepare for that. The best unit my hubby ever worked for was Q-3 (Go Moondoggies). They were a Prowler (EA-6B) Unit, and the officers in that unit were the coolest ever.

With that in mind though...SEMPER FI!!! My husband loves being a Marine so I am biased. We happen to think that the Marine Corps is the best ever and there is no better branch ;) :p

Good luck in whatever choice you make, and God bless you in your travels. We are on MCAS Yuma, so if you have any questions or just want to ask my hubby what his thoughts are, feel free to PM me anytime.
