  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yup, after 3 and a half years, Troy and I are engaged.

We'd discussed it and thought through the logistics of things, and whether it would be practical yet or not...and decided that it was time this time after praying about it.

So he asked my dad last night, and my dad said yes.

And now I'm engaged to be married and couldn't be happier. ^_^

It *used* to say ><> Fish Chickie <>< (see, fish?) but it got eaten in code and I've never remembered to fix it while I've had blessings out of the bank. :p I'm silly.

It's getting fixed as soon as I get the money!

The time will fly by before you know it, Kyrie. I got engaged in July 2005 and am getting married in May 2007, and I thought it would take ages to arrive, but now I'm just a litlte over five months out and I'm freaking out that it's so close!
