I just finished reading Speaker for the Dead. Fascinating story. I still like Ender's Game better though.

I loved Ender's Game. I couldn't get through the first few chapters of Speaker for the Dead. It just didn't grab my interest.

Orson Scott Card has a great website. He posts there regularly...mainly info on his projects. You can read the first five chapters of his new book Magic Street there. He also posts regular columns there on political and social commentary.

Currently reading Xenocide--read in the series until this, also read all the Alvin Maker books and absolutely loved 'em. Also the Homecoming series, loved it too, and the Worthing Saga, which is by far the greatest sci-fi book I have ever read ever!!! Heh I just Loooove Orson Scott Card books!!!

Orson Scott Card is, as other have noted here, a master writer. As favorite, I would suppose that I would list Children of the Mind and Ender's Game at the top.

There is a short story about Ender's introduction to Jane that I also think is particularly well done.

I LOVE the Ender series. They are probably my favorite sci-fi books. I really liked "Ender's Game", "Ender's Shadow" and "Shadow of the Hegemon". I didn't really like the books about Ender when he was older, such as "Speaker for the Dead". I found it to be a bit dull.
